PCA Rookie Weekend

I just wanted the regulars to know that the Rookie Weekend on the Porsche Club schedule will not be a normal autocross. We will be setting up Very simple elements for Newbies, and we will only be running with timers in the afternoon. So most guys will want to skip this.

If you just bought a GT-3, and have never autocrossed, go to Z-hills.
(We may have 2 national champions instructing.)
Otherwise Go to the SCCA event in Brooksville. :)

Don't know how many people from here went,
but I think the PCA Rookie school went really well.

I was very surprised to see that we had 3, count them, THREE NATIONAL CHAMPS instructing.
Many thanks to John Thomas for helping out.

If there is another PCA vs. BMW Autocross, I think we will be ready.
(oh wait, I'm a BMW club member.)


P.S. Needless to say, I did Not have FTD.


P.S. I think if you add up their collective National Trophies, you come up with a total of about 35. Wow! Your average Evo class adds up to about 3 or 4.
