That was a joke:lol:

Im glad that I didnt pay for my tickets and that I got them for free. It was horrible...

I dont know maybe my expectations were much higher but it SUCKED. The only thing worth watching was the drifting and that was only good for 10 15 mins after that it was nothing new.

Models were nothing worth while.
Most of the cars sucked ass, there were a couple sweet rides.
Pitbull sucks.

Let me know what everyone else thought about it?

Michael.

Pitbull aint suck... he was aight

Drifting was ok....

Stunt Bikes ok....

B-boys was funny......

Cars- Couple was worth the while

Dirt bikes was ok... (wind factor wasnt on there side) so ok

Only reason HIN was cool with me cause it was more of a family/crew hang out for us..

Been to HIN miami, Texas, Cali and couple of other places and my advice to them is to never do the shit in St.pete again...

Overall HIN wasnt all that..

Then people wondered why I wouldn't go with them and waste my $25.. $25 is a full tank of gas!

I had a pretty good time. My wife and I went, got to see some interesting cars, some stupid cars and some really nice cars and some decent steroes. There were a few smoking girls but a lot of women that should not have been wearing what they were wearing. We hung out for about 2 hours and left. I wish it would have been cheaper but o well.

Defiantely a ton of room for improvement. Only 1/3-1/2 filled, limited cars, didn't seem like there where any "Tour" cars like you see at the normally HIN events. I did like the mobile dyno / motocross / drifting but as others said this only lasted for about 15 minutes worth of my time. I expect Orlando to be 2-3 times better, and don't see them making a stop in Tampa again in the near future.

i think it was str8. dont really care for drifting so didnt pay much attention to. did anyone else see the last car drift? im gonna say its a 240 but it drifted right into a wall but keep going . and erika medina was hott. didnt see anyones skyline out there..... but over all i think it was str8 i give HIN a 3/5

Not enough cars, felt like a local meet. If there's one next year it would probably be the same people again.

I thought it was pretty good the way I made the money I paid worth it was taking a whole bunch of the mothers Wax. I have over ten bottles. LOL At least I got something I can use out of it. I also havea whole bunch of carwash soap they were giving out and a scion hat. I am going to cross scion out. My buddy got a pice of the bumper of the 240sx that crashed and it is signed by the whole dunlop crew. Thats pretty cool.

The show was not was what i or anybody expected.. like some one else said it felt like the regular sonic meet on saturdays. actually you can see a lot more cars in sonic.. it was no worth the $25.00+ $10.00 parking whats up with that.. it sucked...

it was an sr20d 240sx. he tried ot get the drift turning around going opposite on the track. we lost it and and went into the water filled pilllars. i filmed the whole thing and will get a liink and post it. it was quite funny. he only got his bumper ripped off and cracked his exhaust. the event was alright. thought it wouldve been a bigger turnout and alot more stuff. i got there at around 4ish and was already gone buy 730. after walking around to much and looking at some ok rides, i got tired. overall i give it a 2/5.

the only reason i went to this one was because it had people i knew in it...like a bunch of people...

the drifitng was a good edition....

i've been to many HINs at miami and orlando...

they get boring the 3rd and 4th time around.....

this was the only one (besides my first time) where i wasnt bored...mostly because i was watching the drifting/talking to local people...

HIN told us that we could bring the car Sat by 11 and get it in the show. Owner is a Dr. and was on call so he had his son drive the car up from Sarasota and I was going to set it up for him and explain it to the judges. I guess once he got there the HIN officials started giving him a hard time about being pre-registered, coming on Saturday this and that. His dad and Nero are the ones who handled it with HIN, but the security guards at the event where on a power trip and gave him a hard time so he just said F-it and drove home.

Beautiful!! Can we see more of her please? :D I'm not hating on those other girls, they looked like they were having fun, which is good. But there are some situations where more is better (more clothes that is) and being classy is sexy...as portrayed by the lovely model above.

Amazing!! :-o See this is what I picture when I think of HIN. She definately has potential in the Import model scene...or as it looks like she's already in the scene.

His car is likely like mine, many of my neighbors don't even know it exist. Work-Aholic with not much free time. He doesn't go to many meets or shows, may drive it to the hospital time to time, but other than that he just enjoys it on his own time. I believe he lives on the beach somewhere.

I thought the nightshift show was more entertaining at least than regular HIN. I was showing my Nissan so I was there from 11am until almost 1am the next moring, so I had to stay occupied. There were a lot of nice, classy cars but also tons of rice, myself being borderline this show :(. All in all it was an ok show, drifting was ok, show was ok, models were ok, everything just ok.

It was my first time at a HIN, and it was a last minute decision. I guess I should've asked what to expect. First of all I expected a much bigger turnout in terms of cars, and I thought at least part of the show was gonna be inside. You couldn't complain about the weather but it was too hot to be outside all day on the pavement. The event was too long with lousy foutrageously priced food (no surprise). But all of that is ok with me.

What I detested was the unescapable, obnoxious, vulgar, hip-hop-rap, crap, or whatever it's called these days. I wish I had brought my Ipod. I won't even repeat their names but, the "entertainment?" was nothing short of disgusting in my opinion. If that's the mindset behind these shows, and by default what the attendees are associated with, I won't go back to HIN or anything that is similar.

I came to show my car because it's unique and to get some ideas from what others had done, especially in the paint department. Unforntunately, there was no escaping the "entertainment?" since you couldn't move your car until the end. Surely I wasn't the only one offended. :-o I've been to big shows before, so I'm not naive. I'm too old to be naive. I was at SEMA in Vegas last year and yes there was lots of eye candy there; however, it was a respectable professionally run event and you weren't subjected to anything that you couldn't walk away from voluntarily. I can't believe St Pete actually allowed families to bring in their kids to an event that should have been at least "R" rated if for nothing else the language from and spectable on the stage. :( If you went out on the street in Clearwater Beach and screamed the lryics to "dammit man" you'd be arrested. I'd better hush before I really say what I think....I did send a letter to Mazda Execs to have them check out the lyrics of the "entertainment?" that graced the HIN stage with Mazda's name plastered all over it, just in case they didn't know what they're sponsoring. That won't make a difference but it made me feel better.

So much for the "entertainment?"....Now for the cars....There were some interesting rides built by some very talented people. I'd be interested in knowing how many of cars there were daily drivers that were actually built by their owners.

I didn't pay much attention at the end because I didn't expect to win anything (my exterior paint is 30 years old and tired - one of these days I'll decide what the repaint will be). So...were any of the winners locals? If so, my hat's off to you. Congrats.

I think I'll stick to the local daily-driver meets, and decent no-rap-hip-hop stripper-less events.
