i know i change my setup the way it looks alot but im trying to find one that looks good and i like. i like the way this one looks and it sounds good to i got to get 2 more mids and get 2 more lighting audio 12's

Not feeling the speakers in the rear, but you are getting better. Those speakers in the rear will completely throw off the soundstage. I can point you in the direction for a 2-way active set up that would be louder than all those speakers if you want. Waht kind of subs?

right now i got 2 lighting audio p3's and 3 jensen 12's (the jenses arnt mine im barowing them) but im going to run lighting audio 12's and the mids yeah there cheap ass wal-mart $20 a set durabrands but they sound ok

well i have a s-10 and there is no where for me to put speakers in the front.. i am makeing my own door panels but im not puting speakers in them... its made to how i want it to look and i think it sounds ok.. its mainly for SPL

Theres a lotta thought into the design and install even if your equipment is not high end stuff. I like it, looks good. Keep the pics up when you get it carpeted!

got the dash out i was going to try and make a fiberglass dash but yeahhh i not good with fiberglass and i dont want it to look like shit.... so i took my dash out and it broke into 3 peices.. so now im dashless till i find someone to make me a dash... and i know im not going to like the prices so im going to practice doing fiberglass and then build my own..but i dont know if i should use 1/2 inch or 3/4 inch MDF for the frameing.. or use diff wood outher then MDF....pics

In all seriousness, pick one project and do it. Work in steps, from the bottom up. Do stuff like carpet first, then some seat rails, the dash, then the doors, then the battery rack, then the sub box/amp rack. I know we all want the most for the least, but ripping everything apart and doing 1/10th of everything just leads to a mess.

x2 Stick in one area, finish that and continue. I don't begin building a box for my subs while I'm installing components. Take everything in order. Deaden the car. Run all wires (get 0 gauge to the batteries, it looks like 4 or 8, you need 0 or it's pointless to have the extra bats). Then beging working on your speakers, baffles, experimenting where you get the best/loudest sound, then move on to your substage and boxes.

its 4 gauge for now... till i can afford 0 gauge.. ive been working on runing all my wires and geting the batterys in the bed and all tht goo d stuff today. after all ym wires are ran and i find a way to get about 45 bucks ill be geting 2 sheets of 3/4 inch MDF and starting my box..

i wanted to do a wall in my 1985 mustang when i had it.. but that was about 4 years agaio and i wasent building box's then... after i started building box's i said fu*k it im walling my s-10 off! when i started thinking about doin a wall i was going to do 8 12's then i decided to do 6 now im going with 4... i know 4 12's isent really wall worthy but later on down the road if i was to go with more it wont be that hard to just change the front face out..

I've read and i've seen what you've done, only really bugged you about your fogged out camera. I have no problem with the whole experimenting thing, but theres no real progress and you're using 5 different brands of speakers in your setup... which is not going to sound good......... pretty much whatever you do to it.

You do know a wall consists of more than just a sheet of wood with some holes cut in it right? An enclosure of some sort is involved. You obviously have a looooooooong way to go. Why don't you save yourself the time and hassle of what your doing now and simply get a pad and pencil and just draw your ideas if you really want to know what they'd look like.

Seems like a lot of work just so you can visualize your ideas. Especially considering you wouldn't be able to use any of that if you were to actually do a real enclsoure.

i know a wall is more then wood screwed to the truck... i had to make sure i can fit in the truck with a wall im 6'3 260 pounds i had to see if i still had leg room... i have along way to go thats why i got a new truck for driveing im just going to get a prefab box and 2 15's for it and use it as a daily driver while im building the s-10
