The sound is changed with different inserts. These have the purple inserts and do not sound like canaries.

Sold seperate, due to the fact that piping can either be steel/aluminum.

You can make them sound different depending on the insert. The inserts on these are purple and give a wooshing sound. We'll get some video of the sound off my car and post it for you guys...

As for holding boost, theese BOV are designed to hold massive boost. The boost pressure pushes them closed and not open like most (if not all) other BOV's. As the pressure builds it's pushes on the valve from the inside out, so no boost leaks or having to mess with changing springs to hold more boost :-)
