My WRX vs 2 07 Si's

SO im crusing down Hillsbourgh Ave going to tampa rd. And I am at a light. Got new shades and the BOV is working good. And then some loud guy with his buddy pulls up in his 06 blue Si. So i didnt think anything of it till i hear him say quietly. "Dudeman you can take em" So he revs I smile not doing anything. The light is ready to turn green. I rev to 5500 Rpms and launch on him so bad. He takes off and I swtich to 2nd then 3rd. I didnt see him at all I think he gave up. So I cruz and what does he do a Ricer flyby. 2nd Run is a 06 or 07 Si sliver with Exhaust I think or tip, Idk. I see him pull out and I hear his VTAK lol his vtec and I said its game. I catch up and drop to 2nd and wait..He bites and we take off. didnt have much in 2nd so I swtich to 3rd he is at my 2nd rear door ( not bad for an Si ) and I was going into 4th but missed it. So I catch up he gives thumbs up I did the same back. I didnt kno those Si's are that quick. Then I pull over cuz my trunk was open all of a sudden I see State tropper FLY by doin at least 90 I was so happy I was parked. lol:D

not trying to argue, i must have missed it, but when did a subaru beat honda's 1/4 mile record? and when were there more sub 10 second subaru's than honda's. not trying to bash you, but i watch professional import drag racing, and i never see subie's.

The point I was proving was not focusing on Honda as a manufacturer. I was simply stating, that in regards, to the two subject vehicles at hand: Civic Si, Subaru Wrx, that the wrx for the money will give you a much better straight line acceration, compared to the juxtaposed; unless, you were to go to a forced induction on the Si, which in that case, you could buy an Sti and have a very solid ground to work on.

Now in terms of drag racing I simply state: "There is no replacement for displacement."

bahahahah. ams evo > big valley. when they went at it last yr.. ams evo the silver one ran 1sec faster than the big valley sti. :/. so yeaaaa. ams has like maybe 10 cars that can beat big valley. big valley has sadly only one. oh well theres awlays this yr that stis can get walked by evos again :X

Stock for stock there is no comparison with the WRX. But, stock for stock with the STI and they are evenly matched depending on the driver. I have seen articles and videos which have the EVO>STi and also seen just as many with STi>EVO . The only difference is the tires stock for stock

One thing is definetaly certain, the STi interior as far as the center console,steeringwheel,gauge cluster, accents ...etc. Own the EVO. Also, Suby reliability> EVO.

The only thing keeping me back from a EVO is the Lancer interior it comes with.....I love the Recaros but the rest of the interior is cheap
