Got off of work early today, hopped on over to St. Pete with some friends for some go-karting action. I love that little track off of 19, fun shit. Anyway, I head back and pick up my car from my buddies house, and roll on down to Bayshore. I head north till the break in the island where the road becomes more technical and concrete. I pop a u turn and head down to the light at Bay to Bay. From there I do what was supposed to be a solo run through 4th gear up to the vtec crossover (roughly 100mph, more than that gets sketchy where the road gets rough after The Collonade) and the newer stock camry runs with me till about 50mph before backing off. To my surprise, as I climb through third I glance back and see a rather large Bronco trying very hard to stay with me. Im talking about 4 inch lift and 33-35in Baja Claw Bronco. Somewhere between 4th and breakdown, he turned down a side street and I headed home, hoping it wasnt one of the rare unmarked trucks the rural cops use trying to jot down my tag.
Other than that it was a fun run, absolutely no traffic between BtoB and Gandy. I just wish the roads were a little smoother.**
