Can't seem to locate any. Radioshack has truly turned into a dump. Walked in there no one helped me, nothing on the shelves, parts not stocked, parts everywhere!

Couldn't think of anywhere else to look besides there =X

Anyone know where i can find some L-pads for my tweeters?

what's an L pad?

My tweeters are bright as hell, im tired of having the treble all the way down to the minimum... Soooo. I was going to throw on some resistors but Toby referred me to L-pads as an alternative. Problem is there aren't any places selling them and the right resistors are hard to find as well.....

I'm needing them pretty badly... its getting annoying.

Buy the next highest value at radio shack, they also have breadboard that you pull the components through to hold them.

the highest value was like 1 watt and 8ohms.... their selection sucked bad.

technically if i put a maxi-pad over it it would help a LOT.:D:lol:

muffles out the brightness a bit.

But i don't know, my car already looks ghetto as hell, do i need to take the step over to just not caring anymore?

i dont use pyle :(

The tweeters are really good, problem is i have them like 8 inches away from my head so when i turn up the volume it hurts pretty bad.

otherwise they sound great

I have the same issue with my Infinity Perfect speaker systems. Even with a separate dedicated EQ I can't drown the ultra-highs and they actually cause my amp to go into protection if the stereo is up (its currently a 6-channel, I have the new amp setup in my house, but need to fab the box).

Your tweeters make your amp go in protect mode?

Eh, mine are just a little bright, i'd like to turn em down but no one is giving me any good info =[

diamond audio passive component crossovers have an attenuation dip on them as well as a phasing dip.( other brands do too, just dont know from experience) it helped me alot when i hooked my components up. might not help youright now, but a different passive crossover may also be an option.

That it definitely is. I was just hoping to only invest maybe five bucks for each L-pad, since i only need them for the front tweeters. MAYBE i'll get em for the rears...

I was just hoping to technically not buy anything else for my car... just save my money up for my MS6 ;)

Thanks for the suggestion though.
