B&F in Palmetto is also a good one. 2kSnakeater 03-25-2007, 01:12 PM U pull it over in Davie is the best Junk Yard Iv ever been to. edmel89 03-25-2007, 09:58 PM Cophers U Wrench It Inc (U Pull It) 12501 40th St N, Clearwater, FL, United States Map Phone: (727) 572-1976 that place is nice! well not nice, but awsome, thats the only junkyard i found a GST eclipse, to bad everything was already taken, lol, but its a big, realy big junk yard. I recomend it. And last time i went, it was well organized, all fords here, all hondas there, perfect and easy to find a car, not like other junk yards. tk2222 07-31-2009, 11:39 PM so is cophers still there? or did someone buy it? 99_Clipse_GS 08-01-2009, 02:30 AM It's still there, just under the LKQ name. LKQ is probably the most popular, so it's harder to find parts in my opinion. I went to Big 3 Truck Salvage one time a while back and it was a gold mine. I found my header and cold air intake there in an old beat up Talon and right next to it was some totaled Civic hatch with a K20 in it. DJManion 08-06-2009, 10:35 AM just google it and you will find a bunch. CharlieMurphy 08-06-2009, 10:47 AM Sweet! I was hoping for a thread like this! Im in the same position, new here but wanna find some parts for my car... This is a retarded longshot question, but do these junkyards typically have subaru's? I havent seen many subbies around here so Im not sure what my chances of finding one in a junkyard would be... extatic002 08-06-2009, 01:06 PM There's an LKQ(used to be cophers) in st.pete. you can look that one up it's closer than the one on 118th ave..but the selection is alot smaller TheRichMan 08-06-2009, 01:14 PM Gravedigging but whatever. LKQ is definitely the most popular. But last time I went, I found a ton of civics, and every one of them was already pretty much stripped. You just have to get lucky there when looking for a common part I guess! jdmgt35r 09-06-2009, 11:02 PM does any one know if there's any rx7s in these local junkyards? |
