View Full Version : Cost of painting a bumper cover

Got in a little fender bender with a I275 guard rail. :lol: :mullet: It was good in one way that I found out the gentleman who painted mine used no flex agent in the paint on the bumper and now it justs peels off. It would be Ford paint code JL, Dark torredor red. I'm sure it will need to be stripped and re prepped. I've seen some of your work and knowing you do alot of imports I would much rather someone with experience do it this time. So how much would it cost and what time frame would it take to do it? I can remove the cover and just reinstall it myself.

Here are a few pics of it. There's really no damage, just paint flaking off like dandruff.

When you had it painted in the past, do you happen to have any paint left?

No I just took it to the shop my old job used.
