i talked to Cody this weekend, and he didn't see why you guys couldn't help me out on this, i'm trying to put an H22 into my 90 prelude, and i was wondering if you guys were able to do this for me

i would be giving you guys the engine, and the car with a clean engine bay and all i would need are the mounts fabbed up and thats it, i'll put the axles in too to get everything lined up, is there anything else i would need and is there a ballpark price you guys can give me?

every single mount has to be custom, by the way

i was going to call you guys, but i left my phone at home and i can't really call at work, so if i need to i can call tomorrow or whatever, just lemme know, no real hurry either, i'm just trying to figure out if i have to buy the ones that don't seem to fit right, or if i can just get them done local

Sorry man, I just put it in my things-to-do tomorrow when I come into the office... I will see if my contact can find something since all they do is specialize in honda swap motor mounts ;) Who knows we might get lucky

If not, we can for sure fabricate something up for you. We will just need to have both the motor and also the car at the shop.

yeah, trust me, there is nothing available, there is a shop making them called AZ race, but IMO the fitment just isn't there, as well as the look, i'm not a show guy, but i don't want them looking cheap

yeah, y'all can call me tomorrow whenever you get free time to discuss pricing, i'll be at work though, so i may have to be short, but i can call back at lunch, i'm just looking for sorta ballpark prices

that swap is a bitch, better off putting a b20vtec or a b18 in it

those swaps would not be any easier, its just as much work, and B motors are gay and a VTEC head won't bolt up to my engine easily, and the CR-V isn't a direct drop-in

the H22 is just as well, plus a .4 stroker i'm itching to do would put it to 2.6L, rather then 2.2L with the B18, all will necessitate a full re-wire of the system, custom mounts, everything, so why not get the better engine?

that sucks....DC might be a good shop, but they aren't great at getting back to people...you really just have to GO there and talk to em in person

Sorry it took a while to get back with ya. Shinmei is right, sometimes it's easier to come in and visit with us. I actually thought I PMed you back, basically telling you that we are more then capable on doing the job for you, but will need the motor and vehicle at the shop in order to see what's involved. Something such as this, where there are no approximate time will run you $60 per hour for labor and then $80 for any custom fabrication.
