Do any of you guys ever go to the track? Sunshine or Bradenton? If so would anyone be interested in runnin out there sometime? I would really like to see how my bike compares to (R6'S,600RR's and 636's...)

Honestly, its not going to be a good comparo.

Its all going to be in the rider, even though its in a straight line.

It might be fun to go see who can drag a bike better in the 1/4 for bragging rights, but that is about all.

Example, I saw some video of a Supra racing a "bike" ... the guy on the bike looked like he could barely ride, much less drag race and got killed by the Supra... no telling if the Supra was actually faster than the bike because the rider sucked!

I totally understand what your saying...Of course comparible rider's is the only way you could really match them up...Some supra's are fuckin nasty though, I had a kid in a STI claiming to have 460whp/480wtq (meth injection, aftermarket parts out the ying yang...) really he only makes about 100hp less than that but I definately spanked his ass hard, actually gave him the jump and then I cracked it and pulled until I was alone took him a few to catch up...I mean everyone always does twisties, I think it would be cool to all hang out at the track one night and race and have a good time...

I think the best results come from AMA SuperSport (what these bikes are intended to do)... there the bikes are nearly identical to what you get from the showroom floor + a parts express cat. With professional riders at the controls that can exceed the skills of the nearest weekend track hero. And even in this scenario, rider input is a huge factor.

On the drag strip (where these bikes are not designed to compete), you wouldn't be comparing bikes... these bikes do nothing for you if your reaction & 60ft times suck, you'd just as soon get beat by a veteran on a slower bike... If this is your cup of tea, strap it, lower it, stretch it & practice your ars off... you'll be good on anything with some experience...
