its factory assigned - check your owners manual or go to the dealer.

or buy an aftermarket.

the radio is a totally separate module first of all, second disconnecting the battery caused the problem in the first place.

i'd just go after market but this might help try to fix the stock one, google says "on most Honda cars the code is a 5digit number located with in the trunk ( on the brace arm left side) or inside of the door. If you have the book your in luck its also poster in there on a little white sticker"

You'll probably have to get this number from the dealership by giving them your VIN#. And depending on how far the stick is up their ass that day, they may or may not give it to you.

i have the same problem on my 94 accord. other replies
on other forums convince me that a vin doesn't help.
the solution is to remove the radio and look for a serial
number. then the dealer can look up the code. the dealer wanted many dollars to remove the radio, then put it back in. if anyone can remove and replace my accord radio for not so many dollars, please l-m-k. jim at 464-9999.

well i dont see why it would be hard, ive removed cd players from a cople different types of cars. if there going to charge for just removing it to read a serial number ill take it out of her car myself. im shure i can get yours out with no problems....
