Project: Green Hornet Nova

So this is the 1st official full restoration project that we are taking on this is a full frame, well Sub-frame off restoration. The car is a 1968 Chevy Nova II, Yes its a 4 door and thats exactly why were doing it. This car was our grandmothers car that she bought brand new back in 68, she just recently passed away and me and my brother are taking it pretty hard since she lived with us since we were little. The name of the car is The green hornet because of its bluish green factory color and thats what it was always reffered to as, by my grandmother. It was actually supposed to be my 1st car, but no one had the time or money to put into it, being as it needed so much work. So now me and my brother have the ability and its time to get this car back on the road. I only wish she could see it when its done.

So heres the pics of the teardown, except for suspension/drive train that will come later.
Were hoping over the next year to get most all of the sheetmetal/body work done.

But thats the kind of job you get true satisfaction out of when its finished.
