Saturday was a bad idea. A guest of mine was not on the list so we didn't get in anyways. When we got there it was raining to fuck it  We ended up going to Bradenton Motorsports track and had some fun :)

Yeah, that's the only down side to this site... If we let people in that aren't on the list, we risk losing the site forever. It's not our rules, it's the Federal Government's (Homeland Security's) rules. Unfortunately there's no room for exceptions.

Sunday was fun. Except that I forgot to put on sunscreen, so now I look like a damn lobster.

I finally beat Jeremy for once... :D

i enjoy watching tony (nunyo) driving someone else's car cause he has no regard for it's wellbeing & pretty much thrashes it on course. each time he passed i made sure i was more alert & knew where to run incase he looped it.

i realized my car sucks with it's current setup on the hankooks. might have to buy a few goodies & rework the alignment as it handled like ass yesterday.

Anyone know if Jerry Epperly in the ESP 300ZX was on street tires or race tires?

Jeremy and my battle for "fastest street-tired car" may have been in vain, haha. Jerry beat us both.

Haha, so you could tell when he was driving it as opposed to me?
I think he did really good. My car is not easy to drive at all.
I enjoyed the competition.

well, besides the different # on the door yeah, i could.

you were more smooth & he was just throwing it around. although i think only you hit a cone in the first slalom where i was.

holy shit, i just looked at a vid from my first run where i spun out & i came pretty close to sliding off the course where the concrete is :-o

Thanks! That thing is definitely tricky. It was all but impossible for me to have a smooth enough throttle input to result in smooth power delivery. My last run was just a complete hairball, a couple of the others seemed okay. There's a VERY fine line in that car between slow and out of control. When it felt the best it seemed like it was "drifting" (fast drifting not exhibition drifting, even if it is a 240) around the cones and the turbo was catching up just as the car straightened out.

At any rate I had a really good time and appreciated the opportunity to check it out.
