He did not say what was wrong.. but something needed to be fixed. So he said to call him either tomorrow or the day after.

In any case.. I'm just in a bad mood since I can't get my car to the shop..

he is expensive as hell, he wanted $70 to tow my car 18 miles, F that. then he charged me like $25 to tow a car from my house to DC, which is about 1/10th of a mile.

AAA will tow lowered cars, just get some 2x4s, or most tow trucks have some on the car, just tell them you need a flatbed.

I been a AAA member for years and never had a problem with my lower ride. Three weeks ago then tow me. Then my car broke again and I needed it towed back and this time they refused to come and pick up my car. I guess you have to be cautious on what you tell them. I always request a flatbed. It seem like it a better idea for me to release the air out of my rear tires and say "I need a flatbed since the car is not driveable due to damage to the wheels (and it not towable using a regular tow truck).

Also.. tow truck will have a $50 hookup fee with a per mile charge... so $70 for 18 miles is ok for a non-AAA tow.

not when you own the truck and your own service and have done a lot of business for a specific shop, that rate sucks.

either way buylow still went through motezza to tow the car to our shop with no complaints.

for the amount he charges, there shouldnt be any.

also towing a car on a flatbed is not rocket science.
