My name is brandon, I am from the chicago, IL area. I am moving down and would like to meet some other car enthusiasts. I drive a 98 Golf GTI VR-T... I will include a few pics, some might be old and alot has been added or changed on the car. I am also in the process of building a 2.3 stroker for my talon shell.. that will be finished up when I arrive down south
building a new intake manifold..

VR6's are straight up bish's .. I just put new pistons, rings, ( after driving about 2 months I blew the rings, and blowby on the VR6 is wicked nasty ), head studs, and a new gasket.. running 14 Psi and I can barley keep it on the road.. LSD will be my next investment, along with some 15 x 9.5 's .. I am planning on going rollerskating ;)
advice... megasquirt it... or your going to have so many fuel issues you will want to kill yourself..
running rich at idle / lean under boost ... and if you fry them rings your gunna flood out into your oil, and oil and gas don't mix to good

ya MSnS will be going on it, ive done a few installs on a few different cars so i know my way around the system.
like i said when you get into town, PM me
if you plan on making good power you better get a diff for sure.we have gone though 3 trannys so far.now we are running a six speed gear set from Quaife best up grade ever.as far as management you cant go wrong with C2 motorsports #42 injectors, chip, and head spacer. With a t3t4 57trim at 20lbs we made 355hp 337tq.now we are running a 35r on 15lbs and this thing is a monster way more power than the t3t4 on 20lbs.stock rods and pistons!!!!

yea, my goal was only 320 Hp for the VR6 with reliability... Anything over that will be built into my AWD DSM :) the unreliable beast
