I rarley see these on here so I figured I'd post mine. Hopefully I will be finished tommorow. BTW I'm not a professional by any means so don't expect a perfectly clean install.

The Equipment, 75 feet of 0 gauge, hc2000, RammMat & Ensolite, and of course the BLs :)

Test fitting the amps, see how they would layout

And everything out...the false floor
http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i269/the727kid/Videos020.jpg

The 0 gauge running under the hood (it's been zip-tied up since)
http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i269/the727kid/Videos026.jpg

All the 0 gauge ran and in the trunk
http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i269/the727kid/Videos024.jpg

3 runs under the carpet :-o I'm suprised I made this fit. I had to put one run down the other side, I didn't even bother trying it on the drivers side too.

And the equipment back in my room right now, the TIs appear to be better subs just by look, but don't judge abook by it's cover :).

The more exciting pictures tommorow. Installing everything and carpeting the false floor.

=/ wtf do u need four runs for?

the727kid
02-15-2007, 08:26 PM
Strong Voltage :). Running amps at .5 and getting the power out of them isn't easy. I prob could of just done one run but I probally would of had voltage drops. I shouldn't see even a .1v drop from the front battery to the back. I also got a lot of that wire at a extremely cheap price.

four runs of 0 gauge will definitely keep the voltage drop to a minimum, but I doubt you will ever use it with only one alternator no matter what the output.

... i still cant wait to see the finished product. thats gonna be loud as ballz

Ported box and sealed trunk? Does it rattle much? ;)

the727kid
02-15-2007, 09:21 PM
Actually it doesn't rattle too bad. I have a bunch of deadner though. Most of the rattling is my rear deck flapping. YouTube - Eldorado (http://youtube.com/watch?v=qeTig6A7gRA) Theres a video I took of the TIs a little bit ago. It does rattle, but I have heard WAY worse.

Didn't finish today but almost there, I had to put in another system today as well and that was priority over mine.

....Just about all wired up

And where I finished today, all wires ran and ready for amps and subs.

what do you think it will hit on a meter, i mean like what is you goal to hit ??? The setup looks pretty nasty, i plan on buyin some of these speakers for the next setup i do, but im debating on these speakers or RE's, or maybe even Treo im not sure

the727kid

Honestly, I don't know. My car is horrible for TL #s so I don't know, but I just got it in and holy excursion! I need to tune them but when I put it to where I usually turn it up to them things were moving at least 2", I think it was a little too much lol.

02-17-2007, 04:58 PM
hey adrian that shit looks nice and the diamonds......them were sexy how do they hit

the727kid
02-18-2007, 02:34 AM
The Diamonds hit alright, nothing to special, they could be better with a diff amp.

Anyways I got around to tuning it. At 1100 per sub it is a little louder than my old set up, but the lows were a little bit better with the TIs. I still got to bump it up 1600watts tho once they are broken in a lil.

Notladstyle
02-18-2007, 02:45 AM
how are you measuring the wattage to know that you are putting 1100 to them?

the727kid
02-18-2007, 03:03 AM
Ohms Law

34v squared diveded by .5 (resistence)

I know it's not 100% but puts me in the ball park.

im not feeling the box size/design(shared port?) or the messy wiring in the finish. You should raise one of the amps up in between the other two to clean up the wiring.

02-18-2007, 07:52 PM
Yea, I stilll got to fuck with it more, I am getting a new box soon so I will fuck with it then. I'm just glad it's in and playing right now, I was tired of working on that bitch lol.
