I am hoping to find out if anyone has had any good experiences with any one company in particular? My dad and I want to tow my car on a trailer behind his motor home. Because we only plan on doing 1-3 events this year it is not cost effective to buy a trailer yet. What companies have you used?
Thanks!

U-haul. the tralers are not pretty but they are cheap and you can return them a bunch of places. too bad it's not FWD because then a tow dolly would be perfect, and much cheaper.

I own a dolley already, however I do not like to use it for long distances. The 7 is safe to flat tow per Mazda USA's specs. I have checked out Uhaul, just didnt know if there was anything else out there besides them, ryder, budget etc.
Thanks for your quick response!

Depending on how far you are hauling, it might be worth buying a trailer. Remember that a trailer always has residual value. A rental always does not. So, if you buy a used trailer this year, resell it two years from now for the same money... your net cost is zero (or maybe a little maintenance).

I have considered this, my problem though is storage. The cost to store it in a lot with other motorhomes and trailers doesnt make it worth buying. Dad keeps his motorhome on his property but has no place for a trailer. Hmm, gives me an idea...perhaps I should consult other relatives in seeing if they would like a trailer in their yard  .
