ok, it's been a while since i've posted a war story, so here goes one! ;)
i havent had the time or the $ to build a new motor for my ol REX so it's still kinda messed up and runnin in the reg street car class for now. (on the motor, NO SPRAY) lol
but anyway, last night me and cj were heading over to my friend's house before going out to hang out with the lakeland crew, and while we were sitting at a traffic light, cj says "dad, those guys next to us wanna race!"
so i look over and see a blue focus, and he revs up at me and nods his head, so since there werent any other cars on the road around us, when the light turned green, i let him go out about a car then i hit it and caught up to him in second and then by the top of third, i had about 3 cars on him. i felt kinda bad about all the smoke that comes out of the rex when i get on it! :lol:
i never got to talk to him though cause we both turned off in opposite directions.
later in the night, we met up with the lakeland guys out at one of the spots. and i met a kinda new guy out there that had a crx too. he said it was a sohc like mine so we agreed to run.
when jamie dropped his hands, we were off, but i guess both of us kinda bogged a lil since we were both on lil street tires and were trying not spin too bad, but i had about a half a car through the first couple gears, but then pulled on him a lil harder out on the other end. i think i prob got barely 2 cars on him by the end. when we got back, i was teling him how his car runs pretty good for a single cam, and then he told me that he had V-tak and some other mods. :lol: but yeah, he made me work for that win!!! :lol:
i couldnt even get out far enough on him to smoke him out!! :lol: :D :lol:
anyway, thanks crx guy and focus guy for a couple fun runs!!! ;)
