I care not to spend the $75+ for a FM adapter for my stereo. But I was thinking they sell the IPOD to RCA connectors. Could I just run that to the back of my Sony deck? What would the sound quality be like that way? After hearing a few FM transmitter set ups can't be that bad.

Depends on if your sony deck has an auxilary input or not. If not, you'll need a an fm modulator.

It has an AUX input. In my old Ranger I ran my PS2 sound into my Pioneer radio that way. Sound was good.

Just run the RCA connectors and you'll be set. I plug my ipod directly into my amps because I dont even have a radio! You loose sooooooo much quality with every shitty FM modulator.

basically do the same thing. they sell rca to stereo miniplug Y-cables. for like 2 bucks... maybe.
If i knew of a free and easy way to send/transport them.. i' d just send one free to you since i have like 20 of them sitting in my closet.

its a special adapter thing. all you pretty much need is a video screen/cheapo headunit with aux in.
i'm pretty sure thats what he's talking about.

well that would be more than just getting the cable. my headunit has no controls for the ipod so i would still have to manually select the songs. $22 for the monster cable 7ft.

wtf, you dont need 7ft worth of cable.
if you go to the audio meet today i'll give you one for free.
