I have a 98 dakota 4cyl. with a fan that keeps and very intermenitlly stays on. Mainly in the summer time when it was warmer. I checked both upper and lower coolant hoses and there is flow also checked the temp. sensor for ohms and iam not sure what dodge's specifications are and its limits I guess.
Just wondering if anyone knew if this is a known issue. I checked the relay thought it might be sticking I swaped the relay with the horn relay both relays are the same. It appears to be working fine at the moment. I also checked the connector fiting to the fan motor. Its fine. I was thinking a loose terminal pin fit in the under hood fuse box for the rad.fan relay.
Can anyone else give me some sugesstions please. :)
other then these few hicups this has been a really great truck. Hardly every maintenced. But I was told that dodge owners don't maintence there trucks  j.k.
Also i need the rear drum parking brake adjusters hardware like the brackers. I have the cable. When working on replacing the drums, shoes and master cylinder from a blown wheel cylinder everything inside the drum assembly was rusted and the parking brake adjuster cable was broken when pulling the old drums off. If anyone knows if I can get these parts local let me know.
