The kick stand will need to be shortend.

I hope you are 100% sure this is what you want to do,or first buy a back up kick stand.

You will have to cut the stand and weld the foot back on it.

You will have to lower the front some.

Then get the suspension tuned from there, but why lowering it?

But you know it takes away from the handleing some?
I like the look of some bikes lowered and have rode a few lowered bikes. But i dont like my foot dragging on turns and you cant take as low as a bike thats not lowered.

I thougth maybe you was lowering the bike cause you cant reach the ground or something.

i have a 636 and lowered it, although turning is a big adjustment i like how the feel of the bike is and it does look good to...but i actually was gonna post a question asking about what i do and how to adjust my kickstand because i dont like how the beik sits upright a little more, any suggestions on how to do it? or do they sell shorter kickstands?

i have a 636 i lowered it because i was on my tip toes... once i lowered it i could reach the ground with my whole foot... didnt like it though i raised it up again. i personally wouldnt do it i didnt like how i couldnt lean as much or anything... to much trouble plus i didnt want to cut my kick stand... i didnt put the stock links on it i just raise it up 1 notch and thats where its at now... much better..

doesnt have anything to do with knee draggin...hard parts drag faster and the suspension cannot travel properly causing numerous handling problems...

but like they say....do what ya want....
