Paintjob? entire car... price?

Hey peeps,

Have a Honda Civic 92 Dx Hatch. has quarter panle dent and minor ones on the doors etc... paint is faded on roof and other places. no rust.
Car color is RED.

Got a 2500 (w/ tax)$ quote from local Tpa shop for
Dupont Factory paint, entire car, and repair of dents & rear 1?4 panel.

is that expensive? good price? Any comparison point for similar type of service in the area... IE: maybe someone reliable that would be able to cut down on price a little?

Well at a shop like that thats about the going price, i can do it for you for about $1500 depending on the bodywork, check out my website, We had a shop but im just doing paint on the side now and i rent my old booth out, so its not some backyard paintjob...ive done a ton of civics & integras.... Paint is Nason Base Coat, Clearcoat...
