Coming soon, we will be designing and fabricating a unique, custom hot pipe that mates perfectly with the HKS GT2540R's 2.5" compressor outlet. In contrast to the routing of the OEM/ GReddy hotpipe OVER the intake pipe, it will be at home UNDER the intake pipe and attach to the lower hot pipe S14- hole-in-the-frame-style! There are a few more pics of this beast yet to be posted....Just make sure you are wearing a good pair of sunglasses when you look at it!:bling: (a set shade #5 welding goggles should suffice):nerd:. Can you say, "polished aluminum and stainless steel?"

P.S. You might need to a microscope to see the precision TIG welds!:jawdrop:

memole

Yes it is true..Jay pretty much...no...in fact has done all the welding so far on the pipes...doing some fancy stuff with BOV also in near future..but will have to wait to see that...Jay pretty much has total control under the engine bay..whatever he says it should be like..thats how it ends up...once those pics get posted of the engine bay..you guys will see some nice welding and also how all the wiring pretty much looks like it came from the factory that way...(except for the SS lines...lol.) Im pretty proud of this car. as it sits in the garage I just go out there and stare at it... i know pretty weird..but thats how I am...lol
thanks again

01-22-2007, 07:54 PM
yea.. lots of plans..but have to wait for the bank account to get stocked up. the money tree out back stopped growing...lol I am going to try to find the factory rear lip that matches the side skirts. then the outside should pretty much be done...o and either a new hood or fix the one I got. haven't decided yet..probably will fix this one (cheaper than a new one) for now.

I like the hood, whats wrong w/ it?

memole
01-22-2007, 09:24 PM
It was a used hood when I bought it. and it had the case of fly up...so there are chunks missing ...lol...need to fix it up and paint it. going with the same color as the car..but I have been thinking about getting it wrapped with some sort of anime....anyone got any good pics of anime???

With the shape of the dash it doesn't really glare at all. at night with the street lights there looks like a crack going thru the windshield when the light hit its but now that Im used to it I dont even see it.
