This is a 98 Civic coupe that after eight months had an H22 installed. You would think it would be ready to drive and enjoy.
Well, It rauns pretty bad, Plus, The radiator pukes everywere, the TPS switch is mashed into the fire wall. The IAC has water running though the valve itself and NOS install is scary.

Below are some pictures of what we have to work with. I feel bad when I hear these stoies, It doesn't matter how cheap it is , when the project is this bad , it wasn't a deal.

Stay tuned.

I feel for you too John. I hated that kind of stuff. Taylor and I probably made more money fixing other people's shoddy wiring and installs than actually doing work to cars. We'd charge extra ;)

Ha, We see this kind of stuff all the time too. It takes more time figuring this kind of stuff out and we do charge more. When cars leave here we want them to be 100%.
You really do get you what you pay for...

OK, Here's the pictures. There is been alot of work been through the shop since this came in. The wideband is in and Hondata is also ready to tune. the grey wire in the picture is for the wideband and will be removed when tuned.
It looks and runs alot better already, I motor need to be broken in some as there is a little blow by which is getting better the more it's run.
Thanks for looking.

Do you guys have any dyno numbers on the H22?

MrLHT
02-15-2007, 04:15 PM
Because the engine is not broken in from evidence of a little smoke and blowby we deciced to not to run it hard on the dyno. It was just street tuned.
