A Monday Jennings run

Anyone intersted in Feb going to Jennings on a Monday? I will have my truck fixed and need to use some vacation time before March 8th. I have a spare spot in my truck if someone is intersted, otherwise if there is more interest we can get a trailer and bring more. The only openings Feb are the 5th and the 19th. Monday events are 99 dollars. I plan on getting up early and leaving late so if someone else can drive a little it may also help. My truck is a 5sp and I plan to bring my dog.

Nick let me know what day works best for you if your game. Im mostly waiting on getting my leathers straightened out since I ordered the wrong size. Once its all taken care of im all set to go. From what I understand mondays are very empty so you can pretty much run all day. I want to do something along these lines to learn since ive never been to a track event.

Crazy cause the guy on the phone told me I needed a 42. I dont want it bagy at all so I might order a 46 like chris's as ive read they stretch when your breaking them in.

ROFL yeah the guy told me off my measurements at motoxoutlet to get a 42, i said are you sure im 6 2 240 lbs, hes like yeah thats what you should get, regardless ive never had a medium anything since i was a little kid, so i ordered a 44 hoping it would be right, then I tried on Chris's jacket to see how it fit. Regardless I'm going to try on the 44 when I get it but im sure ill have to return it for a 46 or a 48.

Yeah its called Paramedics, corner workers, and paying for the facility in general. Its not cheap to keep a track open.

What brand leathers did you guys get? Each brand fits differently.

OK can we get a tally together on who all is going and what vehicles bikes etc so we make sure everything is straight.

So far I have
Me - my truck 1 bike
Carley - my truck no bike
Medusa - my truck, her cage takes up part of the bed of the truck
Spare room - curently 1 seat and 1 bike position

Nick - his truck 1 bike
Passanger - his truck, no bike
Spare room ???

A friend and I are going with two bikes and coolers. Lonna and Randy are going and may have some room in there truck if needed.

Since aparently i am only riding with carley it looks like i will be doing all the driving since my truck is a manual. Im almost tempted to get a lot of sleep to get up there and cafeen to get back, any sugestions are welcome!

Well for my first time to a track day and first time at Jennings I have to say im very impressed. Im already looking for time to go back :lol:.

I cant wait to go back actually. Randy was timing me in the 4 session before lunch and I was shocked with a 1.35.42 and a ton of 1.36's And after lunch I was being followed by a much faster rider and he followed me to give me some pointers and after all was said and done he was running 1.33's pacing me so I was very pleased with that . Got about 50-60 laps overall and we left @ 2:30 cause we could barely walk let alone make safe laps. Thanks for all the help guy and nice to have you out there David.

HAHAHA actully sag is set correctly but I think my tubby ass could use some speed holes or weight reduction :lol: I was just about to call the dealer I bought it from and see about warentee coverage, before I called I looked at it again and there is no way the exhaust was rubbing on it....checked my boots and sure enough all those left handed corners had my boot rub the paint off my swingarm :-o I guess either sharpy it, sticker the damage or leave it for braging rights :nerd:
