Default WTB upper intake that will work with my gt-40 lower

I have a gt-40 (explorer) lower and just found that my upper was cracked. I need an upper that will work with this lower asap. Let me know what you have and how much. Thanks.

check some junk yards explorer upper will fit. also alot of aftermarket companys make box style uppers for that for around 300 bucks, would make alot more power if u have a blower setup.

Yeah it sucks, its not cracked anymore, a whole cormer of the front runner broke completely off. I will put up some pics tomorrow. Will a boxed upper be good for n/a until I get the money to go turbo later?

it can be reweld.most of the places that port intakes cut them open to do more port work and then weld them back together.call weld, sheetmetal fabcation shops.

I have a Cobra upper that fits the GT-40. Some foo who shall remain nameless (heh-heh-heh-heh) got a throttle cable stuck under it when mounting it onto the lower and it broke off the mounting tab right through the right rear bolt hole. Yes that guy was a major foo! No damage elsewhere. Just needs the outer half of the hole welded back on. Easy fix, i just never got around to it. It's been cluttering up my garage for a year or so. Cheap if you want it.

Thanks for the offers but I think I have decided to go ahead and get a holley, or trickflow to support future mods instead of trying to get this one together.
