I dont see why the thread was closed, but I want yall to remember this
Wade was the shit as far as running a track goes-Thats why none of the pro-teams came back after he left.
Personally, I dont like him- we used to be tight until..., but I do think he was the best at what he did
Im going to state that its not BS and Tony is close to correct-Hell, I know people who were VERY close to writing a check
Plus I want to know, since yall are so supportive of BMP, what they did for you??? Was it playing cheap and not installing concrete until now??? I wrote a 4-page proposal on how, for less than $4,000 extra/year, they could have a saftey system/training program that would have made racing there markedly safer. Better fire suppression/medical preparedness. I was never even responded too-and I was the goddamned EMT/Firefighter on staff there. Never asked my opinion on what could be improved.
Instead of me supporting them, I want them to support the racer who makes that track happen-That means me and you.
Rant=Over
WTF!!!!!!
it was just a question, why in the f**k did a few of you get all angry like someone cut on your MoM or something? Isn't this a general chat board about Tampa Events and motorsports?
How about let us know what is a good question so we know what and what not to post.
BTW i think Bradenton has the nicest track surface in Cen and so fl, where are the 100,000 dollars in improvements going? Do the mandated concrete walls cost that much?
Do you know how much advance notice lakeland dragstrip gave before closing the gates? None
anyway sorry for asking an off color insenstive question next I'll foward the post to the Question Committe before posting!!
thanks

The pros have not been back because of the Valdosta track that is four less hours they have to drive one way and is state of the art, nothing more nothing less. It had nothing to do with Wade leaving it was just coincidental timing. The ironic part is he wound up in Valdosta.
You have a obvious axe to grind because no one listened to you, shit happens. When you own your own track you might understand better I suppose.
What is the saying about not criticizing until you have walked in the other mans shoes ?
The other thread was closed because it was redundant, you know stating the same thing multiple times.

Listing a price is one thing, someone buying it is another. So even if he did say something it could have either been to fuck with people or high enough that he knows it will not sell for that.
While I would never sell my car I would take $100k for it tomorrow. Use the logic I stated above on this statement to see if I am telling the truth. :D
P.s.
I still think you are full of shit just so the question will remain. ;)

Coincidental??? I deal with MANY of the pro-teams. So im not giving you an opinion, im giving you fact from the horses' mouth. They drove right past that wonderful track all those years until Wade left, and now that he's left there for a new track in Ohio, they will likely stay at Valdosta as its too cold in ohio this time of year.
Thanks for playing

I deal with some teams, promoters, and work a lot of the big events (video) so yawn, I am not getting my info from behind a keyboard.
That track has not been open that long or as you stated "all those years". As soon as it was open they started going to Valdosta.
Again it is obvious you have a axe to grind with BMP and the ownership since you take a stab at them any time you can.

I have no axe to grind with the present ownership or management, my gripe was basically with Wade.
