Exclamation Gear Review

I know a lot of you guys got gear for xmas or its arrive around this time <cough> vadar <cough> so I thought it would be good to put up reviews on how you feel about it. Plus helps new riders get intertest in protecting them selves and also maybe others looking for new gear. So Ill start with what I got for xmas.

Oxtar tcs evo rx boots:
Fit: Sizing fits right along with normal shoes or possibley a little large. Toe box is large then expected
Confort: Overall once your in the boot and ziped up and velcroed your good, the heal and outside portion of your foot gets a little abuse from the armor on normal walking but while riding they are perfect. Hopefully more break in will help.
Finish: Overall a sharp boot with good protection, specifiacly the ankle and toe, looks like a quality boot and well made.
Stars: ***and half out of 5
Miles: I have about 50 miles on them so hopefully they break in and get a little more confy.
Price: 189.00

Sidi Cool Max socks
Fit: Great as described, they stay up and dont slide down your leg and bunch up!
Confort: They say back in the whome feeling I dont know about you guys but my foot hasnt been there latly but they are soft and flexable. Also the one size all even fits my 13 shrek foot.
Finish: its a sock....seems like good build quality
Stars: **** out of 5
Miles: About 50
Price: 15.00 a little expensive.

I have some other gear I could write up also if you guys find this helpful.

I recently picked up a perforated leather Alpine star jacket.
Fits great, breathes very well, has a little armor.
However, it has a small plastic zipper that has the tendency to come detached from the bottom (only complaint).

Also recently picked up an Arai Corsair RX-7.
It fits a little more snug than my Shoei, but it seems to be a bit louder (wind noise).

One of the consequences of such notions as "entitlements" is that people who have contributed nothing to society feel that society owes them something, apparently just for being nice enough to grace us with their presence.”

I have had a nice week at the mailbox. Tues. There was a pair of Blue Oxtar Evo TCS boots. The fit me perfectly and I LOVE them.
Wed. There was a sweet blue Fieldsheer Revo Sport 2 piece leather suit. I ordered the right size as far as by height and shoulders but my lack of the ghetto bootie leaves a little more room in the rear than I'd prefer. But I am very happy over all!
Today was the much needed rear sprocket for the R1.
I am a happy boy. Looking forward to road testing everything this weekend.
