cherokee 00 help

my dad has a cherokee and the left turning light works sometimes ( whenever it feels like it), the right one works perfectly.. i was wondering what could it be? thank a lot for ur help .... peace

bulb, flasher, bad ground? the actual switch on the steering column. Try these 1st.
