Hey all. I'm a Navy guy out here in Japan trying to get orders over to MacDill AFB. Just wondering what it's like in Tampa.....what's the big scene? Import..Domestic..Both?
Here is my car out here, 94 GT-R

I've been killing myself trying to figure out what car to get when I move back to the states. I just bought this about 7 months ago thinking I was going to be here for another 3 years and now I have to say goodby:(

ricers are the big scene. there's more of them than quick Import drivers and Domestic drivers.

Your car is one of the cleanest I have seen.
Welcome to TR.
The scene........
No one says a person has to hang out with any group they don't like;
but that doesn't stop some people from complaining about a
certain customizing style.
I suspect the oldies car shows are stronger because those guys appreciate each others cars. Imports? Too many people waste time
with jealousy and putting down the other guy.
I appreciate the time a person puts into their ride, and I work on
ALL types of cars, ALL types of projects.
Keep checking our events forums. That will keep you current.
and keep us updated as you get closer to arrival. -Bob

I would have to agree with SENOR HONDA on the oldies show's are stronger, But there is alot of good guys out here that roll imports, me and my boys love to see a nice honda, nissan, etc. out on the streets, and give them compliments. Shit Ill be ridin down the road and get flaged down for someone just wanting to tell me that my car is nice, all the time...I do it all the time too. Some of us respect imports out here, Thats why we drive them. At least thats why I drive them. You do have to watch out for the ricers and flamers, cause they are out here too...Their everywhere. But over all the Tampa "area" is an awsome place to live and to see alot of nice cars. Import and Domestic
anyway...welcome to TR

Hey would you be willing to take some orders for parts and ship them to me? Or maybe hook me up with someone who is interested?
Extra money for the both of us...
