Default Race AMA/MOTO GP Sub-Forum

It's been brought to my attn. that some users are interested in having a sub-forum here in bike-tech for Race/AMA/MOTOGP/TRACK talk. Would you be interested and participate in such a sub-forum? Also, do you think it would be beneficial to bike-tech? Before/If I bring this to the admins, i want some input from the users for and against the idea.. basically, i want all angles.

Thanks in advance for your input in to this thread.

Well.....

Seeing how the car part of TR has many different forums it sounds like a good idea but I don't think we really have a lot of traffic coming through the bike tech forum to make a Race AMA/MOTO GP Sub-Forum

I'm not the one who recommended it. Furthermore, I didn't say that I think we do need it. However, I think that the concerns of users that are interested in this type of thing should be heard and considered no matter how rediculous some may find it.

I just don't think there'd be enough traffic to warrant one, like someone above stated.

+1...I post alot of race stuff, i know there are only a few hardcore race fans, but it would save all you guys who hate motorcycle racing from looking at it...

it would be nice, seeing as this next year should be a good one for the bike racing world. it would also be a great place to start if we want this forum to lead into doing track days and stuff like that. (and away from the ricer side of bikes) if not we will just have to go over to the other local bike sites and be more a active part of them.

but I don't think they will do it. in the past it has been really hard to get any new forums made, I wouldn't guess that its that hard to do and I've never understood why it matters how many we have... we could have 10 per setion and how would that hurt the site?
