This is the PBOC "Winterfest" event. I made posts on some BMW forums about it, I'll paste it here.

Perhaps some TR people can find out what a real driving is like on a real "track", e.g. the not boring kind that is straight and only 1/4 mile long:


PBOC's Winterfest event runs January 17th-21st at the Sebring International Raceway. There are different races each day. A safety school is held on the 19th and normal DE days are the 20th and 21st.

Myself and a few other members on m3f.net are signed up to run the lapping and DE days, along with a few locals in Orlando from www.cfbmw.org (http://www.cfbmw.org/) and Tampa from www.baybimmers.com (http://www.baybimmers.com/).

I've never been, but I've been told it is supposed to be BIG. I will be driving 20th & 21st.

I believe the event is free to spectate as well.

In the intermediate/advanced student group chances are the faster cars won't be on the track -- I just pasted a list of all the cars simply signed up for the event, most of them will only be in the actual races.

Sebring's a big track, it's not so bad running with some faster cars.

More fun if you can find some similarly paced cars to dice it up with, but the faster cars just blow by you and aren't a problem. Just gotta keep your eye on the mirror!
