Default 93 gt less power than a 92 gt?

I noticed on carpoint.msn.com it says the 93GT has 205HP and like 275TQ where as the rest of the fox bodies are around 225hp/300tq. Is that a misprint?

93 switched to Hyperutectic garbage pistons. Aside from that I wasn't aware of any difference.

I think they are actually the same, it was just a change in how they measured the hp I think hyperjunktics might make a little more hp because they can run tighter clearances

ford revised the way they rated HP numbers in 93. All 87-93 mustangs were, in reality, the same. Some say they did this to make the 94 mustang more appealing since they were adding more weight to the car but not adding any more HP.

like they say, it's all in the tune, I ran a 95 with a 175 shot for 3 years and never hurt a piston, then after I sold the car it was a blower car for a while, then I think it got put into another car and sold, and I sprayed more nitrous through that thing the those big scuba tank guys did on the f& the f!
