Hello Tamparacing, I just recently (last 6 months) relo'd here from Chicago. I just started looking towards finishing up my 1JZ SC300, and was seaching around the web and found this forum.
I previously had a BBY 03 Evo8 shop car for Devotuning, but put a eagle rod through multiple places on the block and decided to part it out \ sell it in preporations for my relocation to Florida.
I've been racing since 98 back with my 95 GST dsm with a 50trim and many blown tranny's, I gave up on that project in favor for the Evo.
Now that I've finally bought a house after taking 6 months to sell my house back in chicago I can focus again on the car (money pit) hobby again. I'm out in Land O Lakes now. Anyone out in that area?
Anyway, What are the shops to go to in the area?

Thanks for all the great welcomes, I'm hopping to do some auto-x, road racing with the piggy SC300 once I get the kinks worked out. I also deffently need to hit the drag strip too. I've totaly been deprived of all racing for the last 8-10 months and need my fix! I'll probobly OD this season.
Anyone from chi town originaly? I assume Chi town brat is, where about man?
And thanks for the shop recommendations, I'm sure I'll be needing odds and ends very soon.

I did my autoxing with the windy city bmw club as I had friends in that group and it was much more personal than the SCCA, and you actually got 5-6 runs in each session. Thanks Bob!

Cool, thanks for the heads up chi town brat.. I spent my fair share of time in the south side at doty rd back in the day seting up races lol.. no more of that crap though after seeing some kids car shot up, and people getting run off the road. Mainly hung out at VIP after that down on harlem.
