Friday North Run 12/22

Due to my Christmas break strating there are now going to be some weekday rides. So here it is just like always, fast in the corners slow in the straights. We will yield to every animal on the road!! Lunch stop at the world famous Shamrock's for a good burger!! This ride is for the expierenced ones only....I know you guys will wear your gear!!!

wish I could get out and ride but I'm one of those people that get stuck working twice as much during this time of the year. hell I work chrustmas day and new years day too..lol.

Yeah... Joe is freakin nutz. I tought Mike was crazy... but Joe has got to be the looniest of the lot. He is a HS Teacher, and... he drives & rides a Honda.

you will do fine and have a great time...everything the guys are saying on the thread in the forum is exactly correct. Your eyes will open to a new world and you will begin understand what a sportbike is built for (not going fast through traffic across a bridge) and suddenly you will shake your head at all the people who dont see the light, with a LARGE smile on your face.... :)

Yeah I've wanted to actually ride w/ a group for a LONG time (none of my friends own bikes and it seems like everyone up at school has them for the image). I'm going to stick in the back b/c I want to observe the group ride etiquette and all that stuff.

good ride for the most part other than our little mishap at the end of the ride. I called chris to see how that guy is doing, i'll post up when he calls me back or im sure he'll post up. I got rained on after Hayman, also hayman looked wet to me in spots so i took it pretty easy (if you guys were wondering where i went lol). Anyway, good riding with you guys and meeting some new people and i look forward to Joe's many rides next week :)

The guy went off roading.. apparently a squirrel ran out in front of him and he ended up going down. Bike went through a fence and got pretty tore up. Dude got a busted up leg, but he said the swelling has gone down, it's not broken, and he'll be okay.

Man I am so gald I goit ride today...I was dying all week!!! The ride went well until the end...best thing is that the guy who went down wasn't too hurt and his spirits were high!! Best thing is not one cop and the rain was just for 5mins!!!

Can't wait for next week!!!!

I ran home to get the trailer and took the rider back home to Trinity. He was in good shape considering.The bike is insured so that helps with the pain a bunch Im sure. The funny thing was I went off looking back at what happened and nearly went down myself. I now know how the R1 handles in the grass so a good lesson was learned.
