I have a '97 Nissan altima that needs custom exhaust made from the header back in 2.5". I already have the muffler, resonator, and catylitic converter. Do you do mandrel bending? About how much would this job cost? Would I need to make an appointment for something like this?

Thanks

I know DC has some decent welders there, I've seen some of the work

Depends how much of the piping needs to be fabricated..it would be best to drop by anytime from tuesday-saturday so we could give you an accurate estimate.

Well, I am in st. pete so I dont really want to drive out there twice. I need it made from the header all the way back. If you could just give me a figure, even if it is a little on the high side. I just want to know about what to expect. You guys do mandrel bending right?

No, we do not do any mandrel bending to the piping; however, we do sections welds. I will post up some picture on what I mean by section welds.

I do want to add that because we use sectional welding, the average cost is higher then a shop that has a mandrel bender. Let us know if this might be something you would be interested in, if it is, give us a call!

Thanks.

So could you give me something to go by? What would you charge for that 200sx? I just want to know about what to expect before I take it up there. Even if what you tell me is a little on that high side, that is okay. I want you guys to do it, I just dont want to be shocked when I have it done.

Also, what exactly is sectional welding? Do you guys buy pre-bent sections and weld them together to make the exhaust? It would flow just as good as mandrel bending right?

Let me get into the shop today and I will let you know of a price. And what you said about the sectional weld is on the dot, you got it!
