Default turbo manifold help

what are the advatages to running a equal length ramhorn manifold instead of a cast iron? looking for a new manifold and wondering if its worth it to pay the extra for a ramhorn

A ramhorn will flow better than a cast and will ultimately be able to make more power, since cast manifolds are typically very short, log style and the runners are not equal length. However, there's a better chance you can keep ps and a/c with the cast, such as a Greddy.

If this is your first turbo setup, which it sounds like it is, just go with a Greddy kit. They're great beginner kits.

Way too many variables. You could see 10whp upto 50whp gains from switching from a log to ram horn

All of the above,

youll have an easier time making big power at higher boost levels with a good flowing equal length vs. a log manifold

equal length = more power over log manifold

Depends on how much boost and power you want to make. If 300hp is your goal and you are running stock cams then a cast manifold will work very well for you. If you are running big cams you need an equal length long runner manifold. My personal car is going to make in the 350 to 400hp range and I'm going to run a cast manifold for awhile despite the fact I could build an equal length if I wanted to. Match the manifold to your setup.

This is true but people usually end up going bigger once they are tired of 200whp - 300whp Then they end up using a new exhaust manifold, turbo, etc.
