i just pick up 2 audiobahn 10" AW102N and a audiobahn 80002v. I am trying to wire it to 2ohms (not sure if it can be or not), but looking at the diagram in the manual it doesn't make sence? It said that it is a single voice coil, so what do i do with the extra connections? i am used to having a set of connections on each side of the sub not together if it has daul voice coils, but this doesn't. It has four connection in a row 2 positives and two negatives. I connected the power coming from the amp to the out side positve and the negative coming from the amp to the out side negative. And the inner two i connected together. I believe this is how it is supost to go. If not can someone correct me. I don't want to screw up this stuff since i just got it. thanks for your help

I am trying to find some specs on the sub and amp to help, but the amp doesn't google. What is the VC config on the subs? What is that amp stable down to? That is all I will need.

OK, I found the sub, it is a single 4ohm.

The closest I can find on the amp is the A8000v. Let me know if this is the amp or if the box says what it is stable too.

Audiobahn 2006 (http://www.audiobahn.com/Audiobahn06/pages/amps.html)

here is the url for the amp, it says it is stable at 2ohms 2x400

let me know if you need anything else.

First, the amp is only 2 ohm stereo stable. That would be fine if you have dual voice coil subs.

But the AW102N's are single 4ohm voice coils. Ignore the 4 post block on the sub. Thats Audiobahns "MultiConnect" setup. The sub is SVC, only connect one + and - from each sub, dont bridge anything on the sub.

You are looking at a straight hookup for the combo that you have. Connect 1 sub to each channel, 4ohm load stereo.

Ok i fixed the issue, thanks for your help. I had another question, do you guys think if i buy the same amp and run one to each of the subs that the subs could handle it? Also the box i have now is kind of small, it is about .6 to .75 cubic feet per sub, if i use both amps should i get a bigger box, and/or will it be louder if i use a bigger box. It is a sealed box and i want to stick to a sealed box, if at all possible. Thanks for your help. again

I'd try a bigger box first, I've found Audiobahns perform best in larger enclosures. Should make quite a difference.

Really, what size box would you recommend. Should i go with the largest they recommend or something a little smaller. This is going in a Ranger so i do have to worrie about size alittle bit, it is an extend cab. So you don't think adding a second would be good for these subs?

Yeah, I'd do the largest recommended...which may be hard in a truck. Overpowering them with a larger amp might not be such a great idea though, especially in a larger box being the sub will be moving more (more prone to blowing).

so an extra amp would be over powering the subs. And what size boes do they make for tens, already manufactured.

Considering those subs recommend 450w rms and that amp claims to put out 800w rms, yeah, I'd say it'd be overpowering. As far as box sizes, they're different everywhere. Your best bet would be to build (or have built) a custom box so that a) it's the exact volume you want for the sub and b) it fits into your vehicle better. Largest recommended sealed box for those subs is 1.25 cubic feet per sub...so I'd try to get as close to that number as possible.
