Went out for a some recreational driving tonight with the fresh DR's I put on tonight.Hanging out for a little bit, a new Evo pulls and Dan asked him if he wants to run me in my truck,he says yes.We pull out and I give it quick burn out to clean my tires of and we set up to run.I tryed to launch it pretty hard and I spun through first,hit second and hooked.The Evo stayed with me until I stopped spinning then I started to pull away,I let out 4-5 cars out.I guess he was gonna turn up the boost so we could run again but I didn't see him the rest of the night.
Second run was and older stretched 600,I knew I would get my ass handed to me but I said what the hell,it's all fun right?I think in other situations(me on slicks and spray)it would be a hell of a run.Oh well,you win some you loose some.
Then we get the race with the new GTO.This time I didn't foot break it like I usually do and just rolled in to it pretty hard and it didn't spin that bad at all.We ran it up to about 120 or so and I let out before I hit overdrive and he was 3 cars back.We also ran from a 40 or so roll on the way back and he slightly pulled on me at about 120.
Good runs,fun night.Can't wait to se what the Nitto's do on concrete with a couple miles on them.
