2002 nos direct port 150shot - full exhaust - intake - 4.10 gear - 28" slicks - upper and lower control arms - subframe connectors - springs - short throw

my buddie owns the 2002 and my car makes about 100rwhp more than his.

third honk i dump at 2k rpm he dumps at 4k rpm. he hooks i dont. bouncing off the rev limtier i shift missing second i jam it into gear. i still get no traction and spin bouncing off the rev limiter until 60mph. with him out two cars i start to gain back some room. he shuts down around 100mph with me at his door. i wanted to do a roll but never got it. im going to get some aftermarket upper/lower control arms then race him again. next time the outcome will be diffrent and i will get it on video.

no traction + bad driver mod = loss
mustangs are slow.

drag radials make a world of difference, example:

stock 2k T/A vs 280hp SR20DET 240
I won, but same cars with 240 on drag radials I lost.

Weight transfer will be your friend.Good almost kill,can't wait to see the vid.I ran the red GT when he was on a 125 shot from I'd say a 50 roll.

Damn man, your best buddy and you dont even know my car. Its a 2001 with 125 shot. Stock bottom end. Onlything else is intake o/r x flows, and mt e/t streets with upper and lower control arms. Get your control arms. Im going Tuesday to get tuned. :)

Steven broke my bumper sat night towing my car with his L back to the shop. Core support and front bumper. :mad:

What the hell are you talking about?. No T/A with an LS1 is going to lose to a 240. I own one, so I know. 240s go 15s at best, while T/A are good for 12s stock. You need to sell your car if you can't beat 240s.

Very rarely has a stock LS1 F-bod gone 12s...yes i know it has happened, i have even seen it person once however, it's the exception not the rule. Most Ls1 F-bods run low 13s at 106+ with the driver mod

yep. Changed all of them and driving out to orlando in a few mins to get the tune finally. Hopefully nothing blows out there, that will be an expensive tow home. :-o

lol. what "good" tuners in the area use sct solftware? there are a few good tuners here but they use prediator not sct.

i drove to orlando and it was worth it. justin starkey was a head programmer for sct. vmp tuning ftw!

Justin at VMP used to work for SCT. and Dave you already heard the numbers, he figured some problems out and got it running safe, and more power then I was even thinking of. :lol:

It was worth the 2 hr 30 min drive. Its not a bad drive at all

For the power you are making I dont think it was worth a 2 hr 30 min drive. I mean yes you are making good numbers for a stock 2v motor but its something that could have been done here. I talked to Chris (Silver GT) you know who he is. He had Race Related tune his car and he is making the same amount of HP your are. Ok you made it safer great. But James at Race Related could of to. Didnt you only give him 50 bucks for a couple of pulls. Of course he didnt want to fuck with your car for 50 bucsk. Those wherent tuning pulls, those where just for fun to see what the car was making. Why did you insist on using SCT. I mean whatever its your car do what you want about it I am done going back and forth about this. I guess I just support our local shops more than you all do.

Horsepower by Hermann....he is one of the best tuners in teh country
