ohh ok, i was gonna say, F1's engine scoops do not look like that anymore, and those engines deff did not sound like the current v10's they use.

Of course, but that's what happens when you grow up in a continent that has as many Alps as Japan has islands

F1 engines are currently 2.4L V8. :)
Didn't look like an F1 car at all, and after actually paying attention to the vid it flashes what vehicle it is...
Reynard F3000 Mugen/Honda
3000 com 480ch/ps 5gang 550kg
meaning...
Probably a 93/94 Reynard F3K chassis...Mugen/Honda 3.0L with about 490hp, 5 speed and weighing ~1200lbs. (sorry...i'm an open-wheeled car nut  )
=
Lots of fucking fun.
that video is intense!

The 2.4L V8's were new for 2006. EXCEPT, the Scuderia Torro Rosso team ran the V10 w/restrictor plates this year.
Most of the 2006 F1 grid ran 7 speed (+1 reverse gear) sequential boxes. 2 or 3 of the smaller teams still ran the older 6 speed units.
