that i'm the one that bought that 67 firechicken that was for sale on the forum. i picked it up two weeks ago :mullet: i took some rattle can paint to where the paint was chipped to seal it up until i get it painted. but here's a pic of it in my driveway :)
now i've got 3 cars to paint this winter :( i bet i don't get them all done this winter.

it's a very solid car. i was shocked how clean it was under the car when i put it on a lift. i just wish it was a little more streetable and lets not even talk about gas mileage. o'ya and it's way to loud.

we took it for a drive the other day and had 4 people ask if it was for sale. i passed a guy on a side street waiting to pull out and next thing you know he pulled up beside us and is yelling " you want to sell it "

LOL , yeah I always liked the ones who ask if its for sale. You can tell most of them could never afford it if it was. That or their wife is standing behind them shaking her head no way.

Gas mileage? WTF is that. That Pontiac has like 4.88's in it right?

Happens to me all the time with my SS. I took it out last weekend for the first time in a while and I forgot how much of a pain in the dick it is to go anywhere. I tell people it's for sale when they ask, then they wanna know how much. I tell 'em I'd let it go for 25k, so they walk away.

it's got 4.10's with a 3800 stall. but i think it might be flashing higher than that. the cam is a solid 248/258@ .050 with around 580/598 lift.

frankie, that's what my friends say to do too. the only problem is the wife would like to see me sell it.

that i am, i'm just way to old of loud cars. when you pulled up the other day i was like WTF is outside. your car is too loud. my neighbor came out to see what was making all that noise. he said to me cool car and what a sleeper. i said how the hell can that be a sleeper with the way it sounds.

Mike your looking at loud cars the wrong way. Its much easier to tune the old lady out if you can't hear her to begin with.
