Me with a blown turbo,stock boost,and teh drift wheels in the hatch,lol. the CRX had a B16 swap with either a 50 or 75 shot of nitrous. we went from a 10mph roll. he got a little bit of a jump on me at the start but as soon i hit full boost it was all over,lol. i spun 1st gear, hit 2nd and passed him a little bit sideways. by the time i was at the top of 3rd gear he was a good way back in my rear view so i let off. we raced again and had the same results.

full boost is 7psi with the boost controler turned to 15 with that shit ass turbo i have. my oil seals are shot. when ever the bov cracks open smoke pours out of it.and the turbo has a good amount of shaft play. id say thats blown of pretty damn close to it to me. if its not please tell me why you think otherwise.anyway no matter how you cut it, i won, he lost.

yeh but the all motor car had a 75 shot, and the turbo car had a shot turbo. lol... damn i turn my boost down to 7 to try and keep my wheels from spinning in first and second.

Regardless, the CRX had called out the 240 a while back so why is everyone defending the loss, he took it better than 1/2 the people that are complaining on here.

This is the first time i've ever seen someone make a excuse after they have won a race (supposedly). If your turbo was blown, you would be burning oil, which means horespower go bye bye. You wouldn't be able to chirp 2nd to 3rd, and lean a little sideways. Infact the only thing you'de be doing is fouling your plugs. Your car must be running in better shape. Don't try to make your win look legendary. I seen alot of sprayed honda's run 13s (otherwise close to stock). At 7psi the S13 SR20DET is barely a 13second car (very high 13s). Especially with added ballast (the uber drift wheels in the hatch). Too many attention hogs in war stories.

if its hittin 7psi when its supposed to be set at 15, then its gonna be hittin 7 if its set at 7, wont make a difference either way.

You did not beat a CRX, with a B16 and a 75 shot. Either he didn't know you were racing, couldn't race, or you thought he was racing. SRs on 7psi are SLOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!. CRX with a B16 and a 75 shot is deep into the 13s, or better. SRs with stock turbo/boost, regardless or mods or condition will not hit those times. Not ripping on your car or anything, it's just too unbelievable.

there is a bunch of slow think they know it all turtles in here arguing over who and how he got the lettuce. hahahaha A turbo can blow in many different ways. I have made 456 hp on a blown turbo before and beat a turbo crx and a z06 while killing mosquitos at the same time. SR's on 7 psi are slow so what does that make the crx with a motor swap and n20?

I highly doubt that, unless your car was stripped to a shell and you have slicks/DR. What was your trap speed of these so called times your running? Again not saying you're lying, just saying you would be completely alone in the ballpark with those times, because I have never seen a stock boost SR run those times.

my trap speed was 104mph. no slicks i have no interior from the b pillar back just a roll cage. where do you get your info from? trial and error? or do you just read super street mag and go by what they say.:dunno:

on wed. night when we raced. he raced a turbo teg and after that i asked if he wanted to race. he said yes but he said to give him a minute. he pulled out a butane torch and started to heat up his bottle.

hmm odd, and yea odd also about ur 13.7's all day ,my SR in a s13 coupe spun tires like no other at bradenton and it was pointless to run, ran it twice both times spining all 1st and 2nd feathering it most of the time, and it had not bad tires but new falken fk451 245's not goooood but not bad and it still sucked so u had to have some good tires to run 13.7's

what were you launching at? i was launching mine at 2300/2500rpm's. when i ran at bmsp i had 195/60/15's (stock size) BfGoodrich Touring T/A's with 20% tire tread left. i would spin a little bit of the line so it wouldnt bog down.when i hit 2nd it would spin a little and it would cherp 3rd. was the track fully preped with VHT when you ran? 13.7's are not that quick i dont kno why everyone is in such dissbelief

Oki, I was in the car with Ryan when he raced Jay in his lil CRX. Ryan did beat Jay. The 240 went sideways as we were pulling passed Jay. Jay is on the bottle and we ass raped him (hehe). Even Mario in his stock H22 waxed Jay right after Ryan beat him. So moral of the story...Ryan beat Jay!

Yeah, I'am sure you had to double the desired boost output on your boost controller so you can achieve those same figures, just as this guy did. For the record a stock S13 SR will run low 14s with (stock turbo, stock boost). Not deep into the 13s. Looks like the attention whoring started with post #1 in this thread. I just raised the BS flag. Who knows I could be wrong, maybe his drift wheels in the hatch, helped him gain insane traction due to the immense amount of TQ/HP that a T25 can make at only 7psi, yet it was still not enough to keep his tires from spinning in 2nd, and causing him to lean sideways. I used to own a S13 with the same basic configuration, except I didn't have a canon style exhaust, on stock boost they are nothing to brag about... The stock s13 t25 is good for nothing but sound effects.

HKS wastegate actuator = around 10psi. That clears everything up. At 10psi your time is believable.

what was on/in my car at Track day:
everything on my mod list excluding megan exhaust manifold, and VP 109 unleaded oct. race gas.13.7,s are very possiable with my setup on 7psi. i was actually shooting for 13.5's.

and lets remember this. alot of it is in the driver. i have been racing at bradenton motorsports park since i was 15 in my stock 2.5 RS Subaru.i won my first bracket racing comp when i was 16.for those of you that dont kno what bracket racing is click here -->INTRO to E. T. Bracket Racing (http://www.asmartin.com/b_et.htm)its is all in the driver i have had alot of cars since then and have brought them all to BMSP on a reg. bases. most of the time once a week on saturdays for test and tune. avg. 60ft time in the 240 is 2.050 on 195/60/15's with BfGoodrich Touring T/A's(eco. tire) for gator skins.my avg.R/T on reg. tree(Yellow,yellow,yellow,green) is .020 and .120 on the pro tree(all thee yellow light up at once then green). im not claming to be a driving god or anything like that but i can tell you this. i kno i can drive better than the kid in the crx(in all do respect that car should have beat me because of power to weight advantage) and i kno i can drive better than most people on this website.

FYI: Andrew from xat ran his white coupe at a 12.9 on 13psi with stock motor and turbo. the only thing he had that gave him a big advantage was D/R's.and launch also ran high 12's with his s13 back in the day. stock SR stock turbo and D/R's

for all of you keyboard mecanics,racers,experts.do some research befoe you post up. i dont care if you think i ran a 13.7 @ 104 or not or beat that CRX, i wont lose a bit of sleep over it.its just a web site with a bunch of kids E-Thugin' with mommy and daddy's cars and credit cards. i kno what i did and what my car can do.
none of you see, drive, or work on my car on a daily bases.

A stock S13 on stock boost, stock tires, 93 octane will not be able to run faster then low 14s. Many CRX's with the mentioned mods run mid 13s or better. Either way it's just too easy to say that you just turned down your wastegate to a 7psi spring pressure. I owned a S13 similar to yours, I know what to expect and what they are capable of. If you don't care for others opinions then why do you post in war stories ? For the record it is basis, not bases.

yes your car can run high 13's the way its set up now. its all in the driver my friend. go to BMSP with me sometime and practice.its a drive but i usualy get 20-25 runs on saturday mornigs. its a blast and u will have alot of fun.

i know a guy with a stock turbo and stock boost in an s13 hatch chassis with walmart tires went 13.5 at 104 with full interior then at 15lbs went 13.0@108, some cars just have freak motors and im not trying to defend anybodys opinions or stories but there are cars out there that run faster times than they should, its happened plenty of times with lots of other cars so why does it sound so far fetched with a 240?

So this is a CTR motor, and not a B16A. This thread was very misleading.
There is a large difference, and about 20hp between the B16A and B16B motors.

Thank you, someone who knows what they are talking about. I agree 100%, an SR on stock boost is just sound effects and is nothing brag about. I've had friends with SR swaps on stock boost, with perfect cylinder compression that were even with stock B18s and B16s.

For the record, SubaruDude is entitled to his own opinion, which I believe is false. Who knows, maybe he read the wrong side of the timeslip. It's just too unbelievable for a stock SR on factory boost to run well into the 13s.

its okay because it is unbelieveable. i was spiking 14 and holding 10-11psi when i ran the 13.7's. i had a 2.051 60ft and a 8.8 1/8th mile. TR was looking boring so i thought id liven it up a little bit.i hope everyone has as much fun as i did in this thread.but to settle some shit, when i raced jay he did have a zex nitrous kit installed in his car and i was at 11 psi with a not blown but going bad turbo. on sunday night my turbo did blow/fall appart. and 2day i through a rod and parts of my piston through my block.damn sr's,lol. i got another SR red top with 14,073kilometers on it. i got the old one pulled and the new one preped and ready to go in tomorrow.i put a few extras on this one but nothing to much. i should be out tomorrow night with it.heres a pic of the old motor.enjoy.

ahh blown SR yea thats why i had to get rid of mines not only did i blow 1 but then 2 more after that. they r garbage! now s15 sr thats something to do right there.. or just build it cuz its most likely gonan happen again!

why build it when there are people with 500-600hp stock bottom end? get a good tune and a good setup and it will be reliable and fast!

why build it? ive had 3 and they have all gone to hell the one that lasted me the longest went about a year then the rings took a shit on me. f they make 500hp stock like that it prolly dont even last that long, every one that i kno with an SR has blown their first engine and are on their 2nd or more

Nothing wrong with that. If I could do it again I would have a sprayed V8. Although I'm not a big Mustang fan, I'd go with a LT1 or LS1 powered vehicle. However, I had a friend that had a foxbody, with full bolt ons, 100 shot, and gutted. He did 11s at the track on DR. Not bad for a $4000 project. I enjoy the low end torque and power band of an 8 cylinder. They drive better around town and have the power where you need it, even if they're not too economical. Although the surge of a turbocharged 4 cylinder is pretty decent, to make large amounts of power (larger turbo), you have to sacrifice your power band or move it far up into the "earbleed zone". Sorry, just my ranting. Sure you figured this out too. :)

as long as its tuned properly it will last, that is what makes or breaks a motor, and you can still break forged internals, its not like hey im going to build it and never blow a motor...it doesnt work like that

the new motor is in. lookn fresh as hell. it runs and drives.but i had to use my old t25 till tuesday. then ill have the new turbo (stock rebiult t25).and throw a rom tune on her and call it a day.

the new motor as of yesterday at 8am

lol yup that was me. i had the new motor in but the turbo on it ws blown to hell,lol. i got a newer t25 on her now and a safcII.she is running great now fastest ive ever seen her. i havent messed around with the safc yet but i hope to squeeze a little bit of hp out of her :)

Thats baller! :lol: when I blow my first SR I want it go like this. That is awesome, post up a clear pic with a good camera so I can save it. I would say goodluck with the new motor but you dont need luck you need to have Martin rom tune your ECU. ;)

lol will do tim.and ill take a pic of the piston 2.....or whats left of it,lol. i got an safc that needs tuning. its 2 bad i didnt have the money to get the GT28-71R last saturday.oh well maybe at the end of this month ill have the cash 4 it.:crack:

Me with a big turbo,STOCK HOOD,and gay drift wheels in the hatch,lol. the CRX had a B16 swap with e a 150 shot of nitrous. we went from a 100mph roll. he got a little bit of a jump on me at the start but as soon i hit full throttle it was all over,lol. i spun 4th gear, hit 5th and passed him a little bit . by the time i was at the top of my game he was a good 5 cars in front of me so i let off. we raced again and had the same results.

FYI: Andrew from xat ran his white coupe at a 12.9 on 13psi with stock motor and turbo. the only thing he had that gave him a big advantage was D/R's.and launch also ran high 12's with his s13 back in the day. stock SR stock turbo and D/R's

O PLZ tell me that u seen this in person cuz andrew says that he was the fastest 240 in tampa and hit 200mph and hung with the punisher when he was 300hp......give me a brake i have driven that car for 2 weeks straight and it is no 12.9 car it was made for drifting and drifting alone with a stoke turbo a roll cage and some suspension note to self NEVER BELIVE ANYTHING THAT COMES OUT OF HIS MOUTH!!!
