3 pics? Come on Toby! Atleast you posted though...this place is starting to look like a graveyard.

I never did get the whole TV's on the outside thing. :dunno:

There will be more tomorrow, for sure.

I saw one truck with TV's all down the running boards, behind the grill, and inside the gas cap lid.

Where is everyone? I'm 2500 miles away, and still posting...

Lol even if you don't like you have to respect the work put into the Donk. 100% detial from the frame, half the body is fabbed up from hand.

Mmm...not sure I'd go that far. Car looks really good, but doesn't even have brakes on it. I'm sure it will, but...

In my opinion, while it is cool, it is far from the best car here. It isn't even the best Donk here. The cars here are at a new level of insane. I'll post more pics tonight.

REally, I haven't seen any Donks touching it. But still to me, that is the most respected, maybe because I've seen the work log on that car though. And Yea it's not even close to done the interior is 100% empty.

And please don't post the Wisonconsin Box and say it's a Donk lol.

I'm not saying its not a great car, and I'm sure there is tons of work in it. What you need to understand is that at SEMA, many of these cars are completely custom, from the frame, to the body, to the interior. Many are complete, 1 off customs, with no stock parts.

Anyway, here are some more pics.

and some more...

The second one is looking at the back of an HHR...the front seats rotate around, and face the big screen in the back.

The last one, is just for Dalton :D

Good pics!, btw yea I know. But how many of these cars are street cars? That car is a customer car that will be driven after the 07 show circuit, that's what really gets me.

You have never heard of SEMA......and to get in to show a car?? I would imagine it's in the $1000s. I know only people that get in are major corporations that are sponsoring your car. But I'm sure just to go look around it's like $30.

Well, I hope they put brakes on it before anyone drives it :D

Seriously, though, while some of the audio stuff I posted is definitely not street driven, lots of the custom stuff here is. Many of the cars are customer cars, that are loaned back to shops and manufacturers, and even have plates on them in the booths.

Again, nothing against that donk, as it is cool, and does have a ton of work in it. I'd imagine that at any other show, it could well be a centerpiece...just not at SEMA.

I have lots more pics, I just can't post any more here (out of attachment space). I'll put a slide show together, and run it at the audio meet next Saturday.

SEMA is in Las Vegas, and ends today. It is a trade only show...you have to own or work at a shop or manufacturer. I don't know what a booth costs, but its probably not as much as you would think...there is a guy here with a 10x10 booth, selling dice air fresheners, so it can't be big bucks. Just to get in is only $10, but again, you have to work in the industry.

The show fills up the Las Vegas convention center, which is 3 million square feet, and spills out into another couple hundred thousand sq ft of parking lot. Wheels and tires alone occupy about 500,000 sq ft. If you walk every isle, you have walked about 26 miles.

No, he flew to Las Vegas so he could stand outside and look at the building. Then he beat some guy up who was coming out and stole his camera and posted the pics here.

Those clear rims are neat for a show car where you want something different and want to show off your brakes or rotors. I would never put them on a street driven car though, nor would I trust them.

No cooling, and brake dust, on the inside...not good. But, seeing as how lots of these 'baller' rides get driven like 2 miles per year, and they have teams of peasants to clean the rims, I guess it works.
