So the Miata is out of commission for the time being... Long story short: Took it in for its first oil change, oil monkey put on wrong filter, oil went on ground, and now the #1 rod goes *knock knock knock lol*. So it's at Lakeland Mazda awaiting a new motor... And yes, the oil change place is paying for it...

I'm in a Hyundai Sonata rental car and I don't think that'd be much fun to autocross, so I'm looking to share a ride this coming weekend... I'll compensate the owner for tire wear of course.

 

Did you miss the part where I said it's a HYUNDAI SONATA?

I'll run it if need be, but I'd prefer to drive something a little more fun.

 

A) it's a rental
B) v6? isn't that like 240 or 260hp?
C) it's a rental
D) just put 15 extra psi in the front and come on out - the folks in the mazda 3's, scion xA's, Corolla's and hyundais probably get more attention than the hotted up miata's s2000s, etc. and espeically if it's a rental.
E) it's a rental.

easy there on the mazda 3s. they dont suck as much as you would think. I mean for HS of course.

2nd in HS over all those minis- slow, yes. Capable of kicking a$$ locally on index? Yes!

To stay on topic- sorry J- Ill be in fort myers, and without enough tire for more than 1 driver. IF that! Also I dont want you to beat me Good luck finding a ride, I saw you on the CFR group and I hope everything works out with the miata.

 

sorry to hijack, but out of curiosity is it still if you've gone to an event this year you're on the list? cause i didn't register for this event but i've gone to one this year & only one

 

they changed it to every event now, i believe, unless that takes effect next season
