So the Miata is out of commission for the time being... Long story short: Took it in for its first oil change, oil monkey put on wrong filter, oil went on ground, and now the #1 rod goes *knock knock knock lol*. :-o So it's at Lakeland Mazda awaiting a new motor... And yes, the oil change place is paying for it...

ANYWAY


I'm in a Hyundai Sonata rental car and I don't think that'd be much fun to autocross, so I'm looking to share a ride this coming weekend... I'll compensate the owner for tire wear of course. :-)

D) just put 15 extra psi in the front and come on out - the folks in the mazda 3's, scion xA's, Corolla's and hyundais probably get more attention than the hotted up miata's s2000s, etc. and espeically if it's a rental.

no way was I saying 3's, or any of the other cars I mentioned, suck. it's no secret it's the driver as much if not more than the car. i was only saying it's more entertaining to watch those cars run than "sports" cars.

the other cars on that list DO suck. I wouldnt autocross any scion (maybe the heavy tC), no hundai, or corolla- aside from the xrs, but thats not much of a corolla anyways.

I feel you about the fun in watching them, but give me Dat in the 99 10AE miata and THATS fun to watch. Pushy cars on street tires? Meh.. take it or leave it- its just more work for those poor cornerworkers in the end ;)
