Finally started the disassembly of the 1970 fastback. Looks solid so far with only a few trouble spots (needs new drivers floor pan, new driver door skin and rear quarter needs some love, but nothing major).

It's a long road ahead!! man....looks like alot of work Derek. I've seen these cars going for big big money when they are correct. Good Luck Man!

Thanks Pat. Things are pretty straight, no major cancer spots so it'll be pretty straight forward from what I can tell at this juncture.

Looks pretty solid for its age.
And it looks like you have a future muscle car guy there to pass it on too also.

yep, he's all about helping Daddy out with the "race car".. He remembered my race car that I had prior to this, but didn't quite understand that I wadded it up and started over with this..
he loves helping though..

nice project.. best of luck with it. also i can say from experience having a muscle car as a teenager is the best. Only reason I still don't drive my baby is I can't afford to fill it up :D
