What did everyone think?


i thought the event was awesome.... those bmpc guys (no offense if your on here) are horribly inconsistent and yet again it seemed as if they spent a little too much time worrying about they're cars and not enough about they're driving. i believe that every single one of them broke something off the cars. rob going up that hill was awesome. we expected that white hatch with the type x kit to do it the first time but he stopped. mike was awesome along with funk,andy, the guy with the black coupe with pink cage, white hatch with type x kit, all 3 miatas and a few others. hopefully they let us go back to that track because even tho i wasnt driving it was still a blast.


btw i am now working on gettin another car, because i miss my 240 http://www.****************/forum/images/smiles/icon_sad.gif



oh and importluv...i saw you for liek 5 minutes making food, and when i got up to go talk to you, you were gone

Yeh the event was fun. It was kewl for me because i live like 5mins away from there. Hopefully they will let us hold another event there, and hopefully more than once a year if they do.

My favorite: Team Tiger. White S13 i believe. Love it when it pulled out faints on the 1st turn.

Suggestion for next event:
-PLAY SOME FUCKING MUSIC!!! Don't care if some Britney Spears, just something for us to listen while watching them drift. Not too loud, just something in the background while the tires are smokin on the tracks
-Bleacher seatings PLEASE!!! I gave the man in the registration office my company's brochure and my business card. My company fabricate custom order aluminum bleacher seatings. please callll!

Because it's a REAL course.
the first section is the hardest of all. 50+ mph drift, then turns into a narrow strip with rocks the size of baseballs that you have to dodge around.

it was a pretty awesome event i thought, although my car gave me enough problems that i had to stop after the first round, it needs to be tuned badly, i still had fun, and as for the mike peters ls1, i think he stole the whole show, that was badass, i been wanting to do ls1 for a while, just no cash to do it, makes me want to focus back towards that idea again

as far as the LS1 240, it sounded like a mudd truck. one word....Mufflers. Not to quiet the car down, but get rid of that "nasty 1975 chevy full size sittin on 44 with geeter behind the wheel floggin the go pedal" sound. Also, tune that car....it will run better and not break up so damn bad.

I saw Mike and asked him where the outback. He told me he bought & brought an older cressida rather the drift ambulance Outback to the event. (late 70's model) I asked him if he was going to keep the stock motor: Mike told me was a 5MGE. He told me he was going to keep it n/a and swap the 7MGE (late 80's cressida & supra n/a motor) I wondered why he didnt do a 7MGTE (turbo US late 80's-early 90's supra motor) and swap it in his Cressida. I said I guess it was because Natural aspiration was more of his style.And basically all I wanted to know was how he did in the Cressida after I left. Sorry for the confusion.:cool:

That's a question for Mike. While I'll always be an important part of DGTrials, I unfortunately can no longer do much event planning/setup nowadays due to my busy work schedule. Mike is great and does a damn good job...I'm just here more as a "consultant" to him if he has any questions or needs help with the more difficult things.

So Mike..when's the next event!? Try and book it for a date that I'm not a million miles away for once....I haven't been to one of our events in well over a year.

The Cressida didn't run the track that day, but it soon will. I think I'll either do 7MGE or 2JZGE, and yes I do prefer the NA for several reasons (less heat, better response, better low end torque, etc). Plans for the car are LSD, Coilovers, 5MT, Cage, Seat, Wheel, and nothing else.
