Those tracks don't exist locally.
It's been asked over and over, the answer is :nono:
Lakeland speedway used to hold drift events on their oval track every friday evening, but it wasnt a big success, and Mr.Ranlet tried his best to get other track owners to hold an event, but they all shake their heads :nono:

actually theres a track near me its not local for you guys its in naples florida, its an abandoned go cart track that me and my buddies go to every weekend. its tight and technical and fun. if any of you ever want to
make the drive let me know.

I saw clips of this, probably a thread not so long ago about this track.

What's the story behind this track? Is it still owned by a private owner or sold to the government?
Ocala GP should purchase this track if they can...only if this track is profitable.

and Google earth is your friend... im sure theres tracks in tampa area or parking lots back in BFE or abandoned industrial parks... you just have to look.

inviting a bunch of jerkoffs with falling apart S13's to an abandoned track is a wicked bad idea. it'll be fun when peoples cars break down, leak oil on the track etc, have a bunch of retards out there when you guys want to run it yourselves. i can't see this turning out good. dumbass ricers always ruin good things like this.

its all your guys' decision, like is said i'm not gonna have all these people come down at once, i'm gonna get to know some of you, and maybe have one or two of you come down a week, yea your car could break down, yea as of now it is illegal. but all the shit you dont do on the track is illegal so its not like it'd be a first for any of us, we've never had trouble with the cops worst thing that happened so far is they asked us to leave. it all varies i guess. it is a risk i'm not going to lie and say it isn't. i'm taking into consideration about getting the onwers consent. its a long shot but maybe he might be into it you never know. i wouldn't just invite random people and risk the spot being ruined though. thats happened with all the spots we've had in our town, now i gotta go a few towns over just to get a few hours in before i had a few spots around my neighborhood, but word of mouth ruined it all.

yeah you also PMed me about it awhile ago. Trajic goes to far to say we are going to have events there. its more like a bunch of people having fun and drifting. i try to run it as safe as i can even though its not my property and its trepassing. the whole idea of a comp came from the fact that we had a Miata and an S2000 run some tandem runs. but for a real event or a real competition there just isnt enough of the track left to even consider it. I don't think ive every had a ricer show up. there was a V6 camaro that was embarrassing but he came with a girl driving an SR powered S14

I live in Naples, and remember that go-kart track...I also live in East naples, and I don't recall seeing it anymore....When did you take the pix of your cars on the track??

i stopped reading this thread a while ago you asshole but if you noticed i was going to use the money to pay the top drivers as a prize you fuck, its not like i'd keep it to myself. anyways i've talked to the owner and its owned by toll brothers inc, they're actually in tampa even though the property is in naples. i just asked some questions about the property, supposedly they're going to be building on it sometime soon within the next year so it wont be around for much longer, but i decided fuck it, too many people being dicks about this whole thing so no point inviting people i'm gonna just keep it simple and stay with my friends,

but as for you man, dont judge me when you dont know me, i woulndt keep the money, i was going to pay the drivers, since i wouldn't have any other way to pay the top drivers i would use that. is that such a dick thing to do? fuck off.
