I ran it on Sat. night at the land of endless burnout races....The Causeway:haha: anyway i get there at around 3am. im not there for even 20mins and this kid walks up to my car and points and with a thick im a hard ass accent says "who's thing is that!?" i say its mine. he looks at it again and walks off. i dont think anything of it. he comes up 5mins later and say where's the guy that owns the thing. Me,Steez,and Jroc. start laughing and ignore him. he walks away again.........then guess what he comes back again! who would of thought,lol. this time he says i want to race that thing. i say which car do you have.he says crx but i dont want to race you,i want you to race my friend. he points to a Z32. i ask him if its twin turbo. the kid says its a stock n/a. i start laughing in his face along with everyone else i was hanging out with. then the kid starts the "oh so your scarred ur a pussy blah blah blah" then he asks what i have done to mine. i tell him SR,3" tanabe turbo back, greddy intake,front-mount,boost controler, 16psi of boost spiking 20psi, and running 1/3 109 octane and 2/3 93 octane,and a stock clutch thats starting to go out. i tell him ill race him and ill even turn down my boost so its more of a race. me and jroc get in my car and wait for the Z to get ready. we line up and we go from a dig. i said hey jroc watch this while laughing. some guy flags us off.we launch i spun hard off the line, let the Z get a little bit ahead of me. i bang 2nd and kick my car sideways. at this point im laughing my ass off. i start pulling hard on the Z sideways. then i hit third, my clutch starts to slip alot. im only boosting 8psi at this point. when i got 3 cars ahead of him i cut out and ended the race. we get back to the parking lot. i shake hands with the driver of the Z32 and say good race. now the kid in the crx wants to race me next week. anyway thats about it. jroc has a vid of it on his cell. post it up if you can bro :)

haha BULLSHIT i was there iam a friend of the guy with the z32 its a stock ass 300zx with an intake. u turned it down to 17psi u told me and i told u to put it down to 8 or something since he was stock and u said nah ill turn it down to 17 so dont say u were at 8 or someshiet. and 2nd of all i think he had u till like 3rd then u passed him. for all that octane and boost u had, thats a weak SR sorry to say nothing to b proud off. i think u even chirped 2nd. not even spun i got the tape to proove it ;)

lol. 1st off i have a manual boost controler so i dont kno where exactly where its set,i only kno a rough estimate. when me and your buddy raced in first gear it was 14psi, when i hit second the tires broke lose bad again when my car statred to correct itself my clutch started slipping badly, thus only giving me 8psi of boost and when the car straighten'd out i cought traction and the tires cherpped.(tires dont always squeal when you spin out) then i hit third and again the clutch continued to slip bad, i hit maybe 10psi. i was 3 cars ahead and stilll pulling. the race was over midway through third gear. whats the since in continuing to race/walk him when we both kno i already won the race.and if u guys actualy thought i was going to take that race seariously you thought wrong :haha: it was quite comical for me and a few others. if i put my 6puck unsprung clutch ill be out there ready to go again. a drift car will continue to hand down beatings at causeway.:D

don't do an unsprung 6 puck. It will piss you off. my sprung hks 6 puck and flywheel combo is the most i would ever do. it is mean and still driveable. i don't give a fuk what the rest of the circumstances are. It is nice to see an SR represent. Eventually i will have to drag myself out there to check this shit out. good story.

I was the passenger in the 240, and i cant seem to figure out how to get the video off my phone. im trying though. and yeah i definetly felt the ass end slide out a bit in second gear and then he hit third and pulled away hard and let off. so i definetly felt it not hook until 3rd gear. also i remember we pulled back in and some kid was like how bad you beat him? and the first thing ryan said was "i just blew out my clutch"

N/A 300z is a joke i had one trying me going down fletcher a few days ago i just laughed and shook my head.
anyway get the new clutch and race this guy again just for shits and giggles i think as long as your a decent driver you would walk all over him, with no prob. on 8psi anything more will be just be a waste of your gas.

It was a decent run, the Z got beat in the end, I dunno why everyone has to complain, its a stock SR20 on crap ass tires, neither car really impressed me much and Ryan's clutch isn't in the best condition at all.
I need to get my car running hard and go out there and bust some balls.

ay i was there the day of the race and seen the kid with the z32 take the cat with the sr straight from the dig. there wasn't any turning or side 2 side b/s it would had been better if the sr would have never stop after he got the lead it wasn't by 3 cars more like 1.5 for the sr to be turbocharged and all the mods its got. that sr is super slow "RICER" 2 the fullest! for the kid with the z32 good job u took him from the dig and u had him its sucks that the sr came up. :lol:

hey man likei said i wish i can post it,but i dont have the cable from the cam to the comp like i said before. that video u showed looked like u started recording or only posted on here after 3rd gear. in my cam the 300zx is in front by maybe half a car till 3rd then u guys pull, he chirped 2nd gear u guys couldnt even do that, (burnt clutch)

bus loads oh yes a 2 car bus, stock SR at 17psi? um nah i dont think so specially 109 octane and all, i had an sr,NO WAY i could run 17psi all i wanted without blowin the headgasket that blows after 16psi and the turbo cant even hold 17psi for a long time. stock would b no FMIC fuel pump, BOOST CONTROLLER AND ALL so it aint stock. 2 cars on a STOCK 300zx aint nothin to post it up on here 4 and cause all this dumbass TR usual drama. ifi t was a TT 300zx then yea post that shit all u want. but to beat it by that little, pss just keeep it to ur self next time ;)

If you bitch and whine now when your friends lose does it give them more horsepower? They raced and the sr was not in the best shape to race with his clutch and he beat a slow 300. In the end no matter how you slice it the 240 won and the z lost, end of discussion.

my car dyno'd at 210whp at 11psi on 93oct. on a bad fuel pump. i put a new pump in not to long ago and have been wanting to do another pull 2 see where it stands now.my car wasnt at 17psi when i raced the Z, it was running 14psi with that god awful clutch of mine,lol. oem clutch ftl.

I dont doubt it. alot of people are faster than me. i kno i should have pulled on the Z harder. but when you have a car with a bad/destroy'd clutch. your not going to be running at your best. oh and stock wheels with wal-mart tires doesnt help either,lol.

but still on walmart tires you still didn't spin through 2nd you might of chriped and i seen the video and even if my girlfriend brother car it will still beat that sr so take your sr and and all the people that all over his balls and fix that piece and get some good tires if that made you spin like you said please write back because im and loving it
